Happy to see some of the young guys play well. It’s not just two stars doing all the jobs, but a proper system.
It would be disingenuous to not acknowledge the correlation of the available spacing to the flow of every player and easier it becomes to get better shots (whether you want to admit the difference the new found spacing have to do with the recent success). We played 27 games without that spacing and our record was 6 & 21, we have played 5 games with that spacing and while Kawhi is going out of his mind right now, the fact is the entire team has looked significantly better in those 5 games. Collins with space at that dunker spot and Kawhi having the entire floor as his domain, simply makes it easier for everyone (even Harden is driving more). How can anyone look at this team and not see the obvious difference. Even when Yanic is on the floor, his movement makes the pick n roll ball handler have all the space in the world to make a myriad of decisions.

Zu is a better player than Brook, but Brook is a better fit.
Everybody is playing better. The game gets a lot easier when the spacing and movement are good. It's not Zubac fault, he's a really really good player. It's the coaches fault for not being able to devise an offense that can efficiently utilize Kawhi and Harding while Zu is in the game. If it can't be done then it's on the coach to start Lopez and let Zu run the offense in the second unit.

Zubac's problems:
1. Butter fingers even with both hands on the ball.
2. Low percentage 'push' shots and hook shots.
3. Unable to score outside of the paint, not a threat to his defense.
4. Slows down the offense. Look how quick the offense was with Yanic last night.
5. Zu peaked already, not expecting him to improve on all of the above.

If Zubac isn't getting it done for the clippers, or he's going to become a bench guy, the warriors will trade a young athletic wing for Zu 👀😂
