James can't.
Like old Kobe you can't use energy on both ends of the floor anymore.
With James he needs to come in with the 2nd unit.
This now leaves just 2 bad defensive guys on the floor.
Have him do the 2nd unit and now there's less forced sharing the ball.
And it gives the 2nd unit offense and a player who can create.
Also Ayton is falling back into his old habits of not care style play.
He should be easily a 18/10 guy.

The Lakers do have young guys but JJ redick doesn't want to trust him and play them if he did spread the time out we would start winning games so we keep fresh legs he did that last year in the playoffs and over ran his team and they got too exhausted. He needs to start playing his young guys and spread them out with the secondary bench people I don't get the way he's playing his players he needs to start playing these younger guys please get this message to JJ redick I approve this message thank you
Totally agree with your thoughts The work ethic is overrated in the context of NBA players. They are naturally gifted athletes, but some do amazing things. In my view, the special thing about Austin Reaves, who is the Rocky of the NBA, is not hard work alone; he is a special, gifted player, and his amazing development, in my view, is not due just to “hard work” but to having huge self-belief. Something e the Lakers may lack as a team.
