You say Podz "can't defend" and is "slow-footed," yet he averages 250% more steals this season than Kuminga per 36 minutes and has drawn 11 times more charges (67-6) than Kuminga in their careers despite Kuminga playing 1,524 more minutes. At 41:33 you falsely claim that "nearly all of [Podz's] minutes were with Steph and Draymond on the floor together" last season. Only 29% were. Podz & Curry had a better net rating and better defensive rating together without Dray. You keep insisting Podz & Curry are a bad combo when in fact their net rating together is +3.8 in 328 minutes. last season it was +10.4 in 652 minutes. You say "that's 40% of your lineup with zero defense pretty much" yet their defensive rating together is a terrific 110 this season (better than every NBA team except OKC) and 109.5 last season. Argue against this stat all you wish, it won't change the fact that the team's defense has been elite with Podz & Curry on the floor together in 980 minutes over the last 1.4 seasons.
Your main criticism of Kerr is that he doesn't play young players enough, yet you frequently say Podz, the youngest guy on the team, should be "at the end of the bench" getting DNPs even though his scoring efficiency has improved every season. Even before this game he was 41% (now 41.5%) from 3 in reg. season since Dec. 5, 2024. (Now 40.1% including play-in & playoffs when at some point he was injured & needed two surgeries.) Over those 78 games he has a 57.3 eFG% and 59.5 TS%, far above the NBA avg. for guards and high volume 3-point shooters.
You recently said Podz "is not a good shooter" yet his FG% is far better than Kuminga's from every zone on the court: 9 points better in restricted area & in the paint (non-restricted area), 12 points better in mid-range, 16.7 points better on corner 3s, 7.5 points better on above-the-break 3s. These were not "prayers" Podz was making today, they're shots he's proven to be good at, which is why Kerr has long been encouraging him to shoot more and stop hesitating.

I personally think that podge is really good coming off the bench. He's not a particularly good starter when he's not hot, but he's very good at leading the second unit. So I used to think that your opinion is wrong about saying that Pat Spencer is better when it's just plainly not true cuz he doesn't have to score the rock to make a difference in the game he hustles takes charges, puts his body on the line. There's a lot more than just score

Podz has been playing well since coming off the bench. It is crazy how yall JK fans are attacking Podz and not Moody, even though Podz has been playing way better than Moody. Sure, Podz gets blown by, but so does everyone else on the Warriors, including JK. Yall are only mad at Podz because Kerr gave Podz more minutes than JK. It is not Podz fault that JK isn't good enough to outplay Gui. Saying JK didn't get consistent minutes doesn't work anymore because neither did Gui or TJD, and they look pretty good on the court. Yall are really getting mad at podz like he plays in the same position as JK
