I’m at the point now where I do not trust anyone on this team in the 4th quarter except for VJ. Some of those shots Embiid and Maxey were throwing up had me physically ill
Played the entire second half and OT and somehow as a rookie had the most composure. Obviously also had a record-scratch attempt but most of these finishes in the 4th were anything but easy.
We got one clutch guy who I actually want taking the shot, VJ. Maxey has usually been great in the 4th qtr, but not that great with getting a good last shot. He even missed the 2 free throws to lose Atl game. Embiid threw up like a garbage hook or something the possession before….that he knew he'd miss before he shot. A lot of these guys don't have "it". Ja definitely had "it", maybe VJ does too. We need a guy who isn't afraid to take the final shot.. and take it with confidence
maybe talk about how score 10 vs next and bulls. He has one game and it insane lol. should talk how sixer choked 7 point lead with 2 minutes. Let see what he does when doesnt play a play in team.
You do know Coward dropped 28 and 16 in this game ?? Let’s not forget VJ was absolutely cooked by Ja all game. The pre conceived notion that VJ is a good defender is simply not true. He has been a turnstile all season.
There are 7 rookies that have looked great this year but VJ is the only one starting on a team with a winning record. He has been so important in the last 5 minutes of so many of the Sixers’ wins this year. Both on offense and defense. Dude is clutch.
The closet clutch-time closer type we ever had in Philly was Jimmy Butler and VJ has shown in just his rookie year we have another one for many years to come!!!
Man sixers have a talented roster. Nurse really needs to start coaching this team better. With or without embiid in the lineup consistently we should be much better. I can't wait till Oubre returns to the lineup.

Embiid has to learn how to play within the team with the guards as the primaries. PG seems to be handling this role better right now.
