NBA Insider Marc Stein Questions What the Hawks Could Offer for Anthony Davis 👀

What would a realistic Anthony Davis trade from the Atlanta Hawks actually look like? 🤔

On the DLLS Mavs Podcast, NBA Insider Marc Stein dives into what a potential trade package for the Dallas Mavericks star might include — and why it wouldn’t be a simple deal.

Could Atlanta realistically meet Dallas’ asking price? Would the Mavericks even listen?

  1. You're right …take the french kid and one future first rounder and get out of the AD hospital business!!!

  2. If Trae Young or Alexander-Walker isnt in the ATL deal then what are we doing? Just trading AD to trade him? we NEED a starting level PG even when Kai is back

  3. id trade him for 1 2026 first round pic… cut your loses!!!! dude doesnt play…

  4. ATL already said they're not interested in including Risacher in an AD deal (via Sam Amick).

DAL seems to have two options with ATL: they can take a deal of Porzingis, Kennard, Newell and a pick, or they can take Trae.

Not sure either is likely so they may just have to hold on to AD, as I don't see any other teams with a better offer right now.

  5. Please understand Davis is a buy low trade candidate aka Damaged Goods!! No offer is coming that includes future lottery picks!

  6. Just go to Chicago and look for a deal centered around Coby White/Vuecivic. Or swing a trade with Brooklyn for MPJ and a guard there.

  7. Why are Mavs vans trying to manifest a trade for a role player and picks before the big 3 have played together? If AD doesn't want to negotiate in the off-season, start a rebuild in the off-season. Don't throw away our potential for a lightning in a bottle run for a rebuild that can start in the off-season.

  8. Enough with AD; let’s focus on Trae Young. 🤔I have a Trade:

    Miami Gets: Trae Young
    Mouhamed Gueye

    Atlanta Gets: Norman Powell
    Andrew Wiggins

This Deal benefits both teams. For Miami, it gives them a Scoring Point Guard and Leader, who could play alongside Bam Adebayo and Kel ‘el Ware. Miami was unsuccessful trading for Damian Lilliard; so Trae Young would be a More Assist-Heavy, Scoring Star. For Atlanta, this trade would give them 2 Veteran Wings, that can Defend and Score, which fits perfectly into How The Hawks are constructing this team: BIG-SIZED PLAYERS, WHO CAN DEFEND AND SCORE.

  9. Keep AD and play it out.
I’m officially done with this crap.
Keep AD AND KYRIE out till they are healthy and keep their top 6-7 pick.

  10. 2:38 ……STOP!!!!!!!!!!!
You aren’t going to get a good deal for AD OR KYRIE.
It’s going to be a REALLY SHI**Y DEAL.
    Just STFU and keep him.
If they bring in Kuminga or some other
Lousy player and try to sell him as a legitimate nba asset I’ll be back out in front of the stadium with a sign.
Just relax and roll with it.
Just get use to being uncomfortable.
Basketball in Dallas could be really good in October.
    JUST WAIT!!!!!
The great, good or even acceptable deal IS NOT COMING!!!!!!

  11. 50 games of AD is better than 82 games of the POS players I’m hearing
    About in trade talks.
    Just keep him and relax.
It will work out nice or it will suck.
Same as if we trade him.
I’m confidant some team is desperate enough to finally pull the trigger at the deadline but if not just wait.
There’s no clock on this thing.
    There really isn’t.

  12. Thank God you guys aren’t the GM.
    One lousy take after another.
    Risacher isn’t coming to Dallas.
I think Atlanta will bet ON HIS UPSIDE
and the upside of their picks.
Deal doesn’t make sense from THEIR PERSPECTIVE.

  13. I hate when fans get delusional. No one is giving us TWO 1st rounds picks for AD with this CBA. Hoping for lopsided trades like that is how fans ragebait themselves when reality hits.

  14. I want Asa and a pick, ZR would be awesome too but not necessary.
AD will NOT turn down 63, he knows he ain’t worth more now.

  15. They only have 2 firsts and maybe a second. Give us that later 1st and their second, and that bust of a no. 1 overall.

  16. Does the NBA allow for per game onuses? The only way I want to stay in the AD business long term is to give him a contract that would be near max but most of it is tied to these bonuses
