“Only God Can Guard Me!”: The Day Larry Bird Predicted His Own 3-Point Dagger! 🎯🔥 #nba #basketball

With the game on the line against the Phoenix Suns, Larry Bird decided to have a little fun with his defender, Tom Chambers. Instead of waiting for the play, Bird walked straight into the Suns’ huddle and delivered one of the coldest lines in sports history: “The only white man that could ever come close to guarding me was God.” He then pointed to a specific spot on the three-point line and told Chambers exactly what was about to happen. Bird caught the ball, hit the shot from that exact spot, and walked off the floor with his finger in the air before the ball even hit the net. Relive the ultimate “Larry Legend” moment where confidence met perfection.

  1. "I'm gonna shoot a three pointer in your face and walk off the floor." 🗣️ Larry Bird didn't just play basketball; he dictated reality! 😂 To tell a pro where you're going to shoot and then NOT even look back to see if it went in… that's a different level of greatness. Who is the only player today with that kind of "walk-off" confidence? 👇

  2. Black athletes were effectively banned, not only from basketball, but also from football and baseball until after WWII. At that time, there was at first a slow trickle, then much later, a flood of blacks who then came to dominate in all the sports. Later, hispanics and asians came to baseball.
