The Toronto Raptors went for the same exact shot, against the same team, 3 times in 433 days and lost every single time. Darko Rajakovic has trusted his players to make the right decision, but it doesn’t take a genius to know that RJ Barrett pull-up or step-back threes, contested, are NOT high octane, high value or high efficiency offense.
It didn’t make sense last year when Toronto was trying to lose, it makes even less sense now that the Raptors are trying to win. Three losses. The same team. The same mistake.
