What was your top takeaway from the Nets' loss to the Rockets? Do you want the team to trade MPJ and a tank, or keep him and build around him?
Again, Best Trade Partner in the League for MPJ is Miami hands down. They have exactly what the Nets need without saddling them with bad contracts.
MPJ and Jalen Wilson to Miami for the expiring contracts of Terry Rozier and Norman Powell and picks.
Simple clean they waive Powell and Rozier. Nets should have no interests in any of the players the warriors would want to send.
MPJ is 27 years old, playing at an all star level. There’s a chance we could draft an Aj, Darryn, or Boozer and pair them up him, and have a somewhat competitive team next year. Or you could trade him, Claxton, or whoever and still potentially miss out on a top pick, and have an even more talent depleted team than we do now. It’s just not worth it considering the last two teams that got the #1 pick were both play in teams
