Actually, the easiest PG to add is Trae Young (and his 11 assists per game). Atlanta wants to get rid of him because they play better without him, and Dallas wants to get rid of AD because he has a player option for $50 million. Not saying it's perfect, but they don't NEED Davis so it's an easy trade to make. He's a liability defensively, but the rest of the team is solid so it's not that bad, and he's better than Nembhard so it's a pretty safe get. If they don't like him, they can get rid of him ni the off season.
Tank talk is for amateurs. You get Kyrie back, you see how far you go this year, you tweak over the summer, you start next year fresh. You aren't winning this year no matter what. Get used to it.

The problem with how this team is constructed is that there is no Luka. They spent 7 years building it around him and now they are fumbling in darkness.
Mavs need a new horizon. They should tank to make use of the 2026 pick because after it they dont have their own picks until 2030 or 2031.
I’d rather follow and support a team slowly grinding their way up patiently. Take the OKC and Spurs route, you already have your young star to build around.
