Another front office loss thanks Bobby
We got Scottie and BI for the next few years. I believe in our front office to build around these guys, possibly even bringing a superstar centre into the mix. Great Bench built around defence and scoring and we are in TOUCH

Raptors almost always have to work harder than their opposition due to their poor 3 point shooting – which has been a long standing problem that Bobby and company have not been able to remedy. Also I.Q. is only proving what he isn't – rather than what the front office wants him to be. So another F grade for management – along with the team's 3 point shooting woes plus perpetual Center problems.

Like you said Rob, Scottie & B.I both played great but this is a team game & we need much more contribution from our bench. Night after night our bench is struggling to score and put points on the board. Gradey 0 pts, Shead 2pts, Walter 2pts, Battle 2pts, CMB 6.pts, Ochai 2pts.
Like seriously we need some more players who can score the damn ball.
Bamba needs time to integrate into our style of play. Playing without a center is not why we lost. Our entire bench shooting 0-18 from three is unacceptable!
IQ 20 points was a fake 20 …. dude missing wide open shots in the fourth , missing key free throws and making dumb decisions in the 4th, i rather him score 12 points with 6 points in the fourth . idk i just hold big contract players accountable
Disappointing to see Mo Bamba on the bench and being posterized by Watson 😂 Considering they lost by a few points, his defence could have certainly prevented 3 points.
Least we lost to a G league team to end the year!
The coach is pissing me off rn. Everyone and their mom saying get a center ..get a big! Raptors finally get a big and then the coach doesn’t play him. U can’t give him a 4 min stint and stop playing him. Every team needs a big in their starting 5! Makes no sense! Esp when this team needs size! The RJ barett 3 as the game plan too when u had the best 3 Point shooter on the floor that they wouldn’t have guarded in Jamison battle-nothing makes sense with this coach!

I don't have a problem with them taking that short, confidence starts somewhere. They weren't the only ones taking the 8 missed shots. We have a young team and consistency comes with time and experience. If Mo does poorly fans quickly criticize the signing.
But CMB has decent form and has made some key 3's at times.
What I see is for once IQ is not lost on the floor. He stays with his man.

Denver has years of continuity and buy in that even without the players youre still up against the concepts. I'm not mad at losing this game by 3 though it is dissapointing
Get this team to the playoffs warts and all. Let Scottie get exposed in the playoffs. Give him an off season to sharpen now with the perspective of the playoffs.

He has a powerful body and sharp mind. Hes clearly a championship winning piece. Theres things he can do a coach cant scheme around.
2 outlier talents, 3 if ingram he has another level he can get to.
If we can't get a big who can stretch it, get a guy who can rebound with the best of them. Get a strong POA and we'll try to win the math battle that way.
Ball was mostly out of iQs hands first half and it was great. When I saw him consistently bringing it up in the fourth, I knew it was a wrap lol. Interesting how Scottie very non coincidentally started disappearing from the offence as that started to happen

Bench went 0-18 from 3. Sometimes losing a game isn't that deep lol.
How does the bench play really well for 2 games and go ice cold for one that they needed to show up?? Doesn’t make sense
We are never (at least not for the next 4 or 5 seasons) going to have a chance like this again. 3 to 4 of their best players (including JV later on in the game) are injured. This game was practically gift wrapped for us to win. The word is out to pack the paint and force us to shoot 3s–which we totally suck at because it is not our game! Even our so-called "shooters" have 4 or 5 horrible shooting nights for every night when they are knocking down shots at a 37-40%. Darko and Bobby need to actual shooters–hopefully ones that don't suck as much on defence as ours do. There are several good teams out there that managed to find decent 3 & D guys for cheap, why can't we?!!! Maybe our guys are hitting their 3s in practice but can't do it in game. If that's the case, invest in a good sport psychologist dammit! We've lost too many games with Darko saying in the post game presser: "We are just missing shots". The problem is the guys that are open, are open for a reason, and they are taking the wrong shots, not to mention missing simple layups and a lot of FTs. As Rob has stated, (to Darko): If IQ is being picked on defence, and at the same time stalling our offence (which obvious to the rest of us), then sit his ass down!!! I'm hoping that our Hail Mary signing of Mo Bamba will work out with practice. I can't believe that a guy that big with that length and athleticism is as bad as his stats for his microscopic sample size of his play seem to show. I know we have a really tough schedule coming up…Fingers crossed that Darko addresses the issues above and decides to actually win some games in 2026. Go Raptors!
