I don't get why people keeps bringing up Trey Murphy. Spurs are in the middle of the pack when its comes to shooting. 7 of the 9 Spurs losses has come after they held a double digit lead in those games. So the shooting is there but what isn't there is a board dominant player. That's how the teams were able to get back in those games because of the extra 2-3 possessions do to the Spurs inability to secure rebounds. Someone like crazy eyes Bobby Portis or Myles Turner would fit in great in my opinion and they're both under contracts already unlike Murphy who's more than likely seeking a max deal at season's end.
WHAT I THINK THE SPURS SHOULD ATTEMPT/ doesnt mean they will accept these trades but I think they're pretty solid offers and would make the spurs instant favorites. I love fox but dude will be making almost double in a couple years… hes going from 37mil now to 62mil in a few years. Again I love fox but thats way to much for like a 5/6th best PG in the league. I say we trade fox now while his contract is more appealing and his value is sky high and pair him with kelly Olynk which is a 13mil expiring contract which is appealing for a rebuilding bucks, throw in scohan and 3 FRP with one of them being the more enticing atlanta pick and get thanasis and giannis. This would give the bucks a good start for a rebuild and a allstar calibur player in fox to hold them off in the mean time and then if they wanted to they could flip him themselves for something because hes playing insanely well and hes locked up for the next 4 years.This actually might be the best offer on the table for the bucks if Atlanta isn't willing to trade trae and zach, and for the spurs this will give them a a true 4 and an MVP quality player for the same price as fox but we need a 4 more than we need 3 point guards even though we're winning. I would then trade vassll and 2-3 2nd round picks for trey murphy if possible. Having a starting line up of Castle / Harper / Trey murphy / Giannis / Wemby and then your bench is 6 man of the year calibur keldon johnson / luke kornet / Julian Champagnie / Carter Bryant / And Harrison barnes. This would be insanely good for Harper development as well. Harper per 36 min stats hes averagine like 22-5. We would have floor spacing in Trey / Wemby/ Barnes/ and Champagnie. Spurs would easily be favorites and have the most disgusting roster by far, would probably 3 peat and be instant favorites and a dynasty.
people saying to trade fox are so casual. His passing and playmaking ablities are the reason players like castle, barnes, champagnie, and wemby are shining. He's wemby's main stress reliever

Miles Turner would be a great 3D player for the Spurs along side Wemby or Kornet
