The Missing Piece Was Here All Along… 👀 + A Trade That Could Change EVERYTHING 🤯
The Detroit Pistons may have just found something HUGE.
Marcus Sasser has exploded over the past two games — and it’s fair to ask whether he’s been the missing piece all along. His impact on both ends of the floor has changed Detroit’s rotation and feel.
We also dive into a three-team trade scenario involving Detroit, Minnesota, and Brooklyn, breaking down how a move for a high-level wing scorer could massively upgrade the Pistons’ offense.
On top of that, Isaiah Stewart earns Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Month, and we close the show asking a real question:
👉 Should Pistons fans be worried after Detroit’s toughest week of the season?

Is Marcus Sasser the missing piece, or does Detroit still need to make a big trade move? 👀

Dude is out there grinding for the Pistons when he really should be chilling 😭
Much love my friend🙏👏
We need Sasser AND a big who can stretch the floor. TBH we need to trade either Ausar or Ron…they are duplicate players and neither can shoot; we will not be able to afford both
Keep the chemistry in place and groom Chez Lanier. We have a great shooting coach. Neither Markenian or Porter we good in their first several years and you must be concerned about age and injury. Groom with you have and keep the chemistry and defensive intensity.
Donte also plays defense consistently which is always a plus. He could serve as a replacement for Malik if he doesn't come back
Trade Carlis, Ivey, Robinson and go get MPJ who can score from the 3pt line and open up the spacing for CADE and provide rebounding. And Resign Beasley!
MPJ if acquired is just like 2004 pistons when they acquired sheed wallace
I doubt Sasser gets meaningul minutes after Levert comes back. I hope Pistons don't make a dumb trade, this team isn't a contender yet
Tobias levert jenkins 2026 first 2028 first for mpj and cam thomas
I dont think wolves is a good fit for ivy. Hed fit better on nets, hawks, or pelicans.
Trade Asur. His offense is too big a liability. 🙏
Dude… Please quit pushing this stupid mpj narrative. He's potentially the worst fit in the league for our culture. He is NOT a dawg. Keep him away like he is nuclear waste.
Harris, Ivey, and possibly a pick for MPJ
Honest question because I keep seeing trades for MPJ. Look at his first 4-5 years with Denver. I get people are in love with the scorer he is now. But why are some so quick to ditch homegrown talent before they get their chance to develop as well? MPJ is in his 7th year. Ivey only his 4th year. And one of those years was the Monty torture chamber. Pistons as a whole are EXTREMELY young. They are NOT on the cusp of a championship. That 2004 team was a team of hardened vets. This ain't the same and MPJ is not putting them over the top. So are fans just unwilling to go through the time it takes for players to develop? If you keep ditching players after year 3-4, you'll never have a team built for the long haul. Curry didn't become Curry until maybe year 6 or 7. Jokic year 7. SGA is in year 8. Our main dude Cade is only year 5. Patience, albeit painful losses ahead, is needed.
I love MPJ's game with the Pistons… my issue is doing it in the middle of the season trading our veteran "unc" Harris for a polar opposite young dude who was moved OFF of a championship team and has made some unfiltered remarks frequently since being moved from Denver…. just feels stupid. You cant move Harris. We have to run it back with the same team, maybe a small trade to cover the trade exception we got from D.S. to the Kings. But MPJ feels like an offseason get… when we can move off of Levert's contract and just absorb MPJ's $41m and then bring back our 2 RFAs Ivey/Duren…. with THAT said… I want Stew getting more minutes, I want him out there with Duren more often. So, honestly. Id like the pistons to switch gears and go after a big time guard and not a 4… what about James Harden…? He has a player option for next season, still a PER over 22… still above average shooter from 3. Still over a 2:1 assist:turnover ratio. Still gets a steal a game. Veteran. Im just saying 🤷♂️
Im not gonna say I told you so but SASSER > IVEY
The Team been looking Sketchy Since Iveys return…
Please quit reacting over one or two good games what's the defenses are just assessor is going to be the same thing that happened to Jenkins I love sassa but he's undersized and he and ivy will get beat.
The league is getting away from point guard some of the best are not playing anymore you got these small forwards handling the ball sassa can't survive like that this is why levert get more playing time with his size
I love Ivey but the writing is on the wall. His biggest issue to me is his ball handling. He can’t shake off defenders in the half court, his only weapon was to go vertical & hope to get by them. Now with the injury he’s recovering from he can’t even do that. He’s bumping into defenders, loosing his dribble thinking that shit still gonna work. I know what that feels like, being 45 & thinking your body can do what your mind believes is ludacris. Ivey feel like he’s that same dude in college. He’s not, but his trade value is at an all time low. So your best bet is to somehow attach some 1sts along with Lavert & Tobias & another young player & try your best to pry Trey Murphy away from Troy Weaver & Joe D!!! 😂😂😂
