Update: Wemby is OFFICIALLY out vs the Blazers. Technically it wasn't official when I recorded this video. But now it is so… yeah. thanks for watching 🙂
Y-Win by 10 or more pts. This team has demonstrated that without Wemby they seem to focus play more in sync and with less turnovers. They again come together and play another great game sharing the ball because they know Wemby is on the bench.

We need to produce some type of dawg that are gonna protect Wemby from getting hurt. A lot of NBA teams are coming after him dirty and we're not doing nothen about it.We did it back then with a guy like Danny Ferry or Robert Horry, that played for our championship teams. Batter do something before it's too late.

Sochan had ice on his knee until about 2:00 left in the 4th. This isn’t too dissimilar from most games. It seems like somewhere down the line in 2025, he tweaked his knee and hasn’t been the same. The spurs might be holding out Sochan to preserve his trade value or legitimately work through the injury knowing they may need him late in the season. Jeremy’s rookie scale contract is hard to get adequate value back with how the cba is constructed.
Im not sure we need a trade, even tho there are players that may be able to help us. The 0 min for Sochan is odd to say the least, is there a wierd injury and mental state that is affecting him? Im not sure what it is, but it isnt that he just declined into oblivion. Especially after the offseason work, including his improvement to outside shooting.
Can I get your opinion on a possible konect trade? He's currently in lakers G league and everyone knows he is not a g leaguer. My proposal is sochan, Barnes, first round 2028.

Honestly, the Spurs have to be careful messing with chemistry and future payroll. Thats why Spurs didnt do many midseason trades in the Popovich era. Sochan has limited value, Olynk has better value and I wouldn't want him moving either. The 2022 draft was a bust, all 3 picks. Sad

on 2k, i traded sochan and olynyk mavs 28th 1st pick and multiple 2nds for trey murphy. let's get it.
You keep him, he’s not playing and he’s only 7mil ? If Mitch really thought, well if Barnes is having a horrible night…..go ahead and play Sochan. There’s games where Barnes is not playing to the standard we’re paying him. I don’t see a reason to trade since hardly anyone is selling.
And top of having to give up picks if we want herb jones or Danny or Trey Murphy. It’s hardly something we can see happening
NOLA fan here. Also a longtime SAS fan. My Pels have had and still have lousy management.
It would be stupid to trade Herb or Trey. We finally have 4 core pieces on good contracts playing at their natural positions. Fears, Herb, Trey, Queen. (How we acquired Queen will come back to haunt us, should have taken him with the 7th pick and take best available at 22, preserving 2026 #1).
What can the Spurs offer that would make sense for the Pels? Are they offering Castle or Harper? Nope? No deal!
Good discussion, Josh. It does seem evident that Jeremy doesn't fit well into the Spurs rotation. He's a very good player, just doesn't fit with out lineup. Murphy seems like a great player, but is there anyone out there who fits the Spurs rotation and is a couple inches taller? Seems like a 6' 10" big body to START at the PF position would be the most complementary. If that player is out there, available, and affordable. Hey, if NOP wants to "blow it up," maybe they would trade for Derik Queen, a 6'9" 250lb player with a 7' wingspan and a lot of talent and confidence.

The deal they should persue is:
Bucks get: Vassell,Kornet,Olynyk,future #1( get rid of Kuzma contract)
SAS get: Turner and Yabusele (Victor can finally go to the 4 position full time!) Kuzma(trade his expiring 2027 and a #2) !
NYK get Sochan.
Turner protecting the rim,wrestling centers and shooting 3s while Victor roams is a PERFECT MATCH!
SAS can sometimes go big with a frontline of Victor, Yabusele and Turner!
Bringing in James Wiseman would also be wise. Kerr and Draymond ruined him. He can be a practice player while he gets mentored by Robinson and Duncan. Size and and athleticism that you can get for free!
