If you’re claiming championship aspirations and you get blown out by 31 points, that’s not “trust the process” territory; that’s alarm bells, sirens, and flashing red lights 🚨
This wasn’t:
❌ a close game
❌ injuries
❌ refs
❌ schedule fatigue
This was annihilation.
At that point:
Rotations need scrutiny
Defensive schemes need reworking
Effort and chemistry need to be questioned
Leadership in the locker room needs to be addressed
Because contenders don’t get run off the court like that. Period.
You don’t lose by 31 and say “we’re fine.”
You lose by 31 and you change something – lineup, roles, minutes, mindset, something.

Such a joy to watch the Celtics offense. It’s very well rounded, with good ball movement and a mix of threes, mid range, and in the paint—rather than just jacking threes. I know Tatum is a monster and you always want your star back, but part of me is worried we’ll return to just heaving threes after excess iso ball.
