Pacers gotta go get this kid. He's not on anyone,'s radar. Moustapha Thiam, a 7'2" center for the Cincinnati Bearcats, weighs around 235-250 lbs, with various measurements noting his impressive wingspan aroundΒ 7'5" to 7'6"+, showcasing his significant physical tools for a young prospect.Β Mobile stretch big, who can move his feet on the perimeter and get back to block shots. Had amazing touch around the rim as well as a floater and post up game. Along with his ability to screen, high I.Q, when to roll for lobs, when to pass and shoot. Kid is young and he will be one of the biggest steals of this draft.
My wish list I want for my Pacers, I mention Stretch bigs first: Chris Cenac Jr./Hannes Steinbach/Henri Veesar/Moustapha Thiam/Baba Miller/Mouhamed Sylla
Good bigs: Flory Bidunga, Aday Mara
If we can't get the first 3. I'd also love the next 3.Thiam, Sylla and Miller may even be tougher, it might turn out better that way lol.
Moustapha Thiam is an absolute defensive beast, who can rebound and stretch the floor. Baba Miller is a similar version of that with more of an athletic frame, quickness, better off ball and has loads of potential on both ends as well. Mouhamed Sylla is similar to Thiam, very tough defensive C who can stretch the floor a bit. Is going to battle everyone for the reb. Keeps his head up at all time's. Uses his size and strength well. While he will only continue to prove. Get a few of these guy's and they'd be pretty plug and play in our system.
I want AJ Dybansta, Chris Cenac Jr., Hannes Steinbach, Moustapha Thiam, Henri Veesar, Baba Miller, Mouhamed Sylla, some of the bigs named.. I'll leave out the PF/C's.. I'd love to have Keaton Wagler to develop into another Tyrese. Neoklis Avdalas and Cameron Carr somehow would be amazing.
I don't see the Pacers going the PF/C route. Caleb Wilson is a PF/C, I (do like him). He might more sense than the other's. But he will likely go #5.. I want C Chris Cenac Jr. likely #4.. If we miss on AJ I'm drafting Chris Cenac Jr. with whatever pick I have. Idc if it's 2, or 3. Then I get as many more picks as possible. One for a 2nd really good big and one being a Keaton Wagler, Neoklis Avdalas, Cameron Carr. Etc.. too many to name. I like Joseph Tugler for GSW, Yaxel Lendeborg is a solid PF/C.. Thomas Haugh is nice, seasoned player. Dash Daniels, another solid player all around. Who's a NBA ready now player is Darrion Williams. I like Yessoufou as well, Acuff Jr. but again guy's I don't see Pacers needing to draft.
It's hard to believe your defense can be so bad that you can shoot 55% and win the boards but still lose the game. If I took a shot for every whistle in that game I would be in the hospital this morning. Huff couldn't raise his arms without hearing a whistle.
Let's hear it for Walker and Shepards shooting lately ππΌ π
