You cannot pick and choose who you want when you decide to blow it up. That why you don't do it unless you have too. You guys got a good team but can't wait until Kyrie comes back to see what you have. You are being impatient and reckless thinking you are going to easily get another star, but forget that most black athletes don't wanna go to a team where the star is Caucasian. The reasons tht Cooper is not aggressive a d they don't play defensive. Which if you haven't notice he playing less of every month and he starting to be more passive every game. Blowing up the team is going to severely slow down his growth. He may only become a good player instead of an elite player now. Hawks fan here. Beyond the on-court stuff, Trae Young left Klutch a while back so I bet Rich Paul would love to flip to AD and (especially) Jalen Johnson as the new faces of the Hawks. Side note: Hawks owner Ressler is sensitive to marketing considerations and AD would generate at least some buzz.

Christie should be untouchable. He fits the timeline, he's a good defender, great shooter, decent handles, and can drive and shoot from the midrange. We trade him for a pels pick, and then we're in the market to find a player that does what he does. That pels pick just is isn't worthit if it costs AD AND Christie

Trading Max will be a huge mistake

The most logical thing to do is see how this plays out with both Kyrie and AD on the floor at the same time before any rational decision is made. All I care about is developing Coopers game because right now he has declined. So he needs to to change up his game and not have too drive to basket every play. I’ve been a daily listener for years and I love this channel but I just can’t get behind you guys on these trades more specifically the AD stuff. We are not gonna get that pelicans pick. Trading AD for porzingus is beyond me. I’d much rather play this season out. A big 3 of AD, Kyrie, and Coop is enough imo. Plus we have a better side cast than we did in the finals run. Majority of our losses feel like damn if only we had an elite scoring guard who was great in iso and clutch. This team has potential and right now we have options. I’m not completely opposed to tanking nor am I opposed to going for it but right now at least we have options. Why trade ourselves into a hole by giving up a top 15 player for a worse injury prone player, and a disappointing young player. Then we’re just stuck with a bad contract and a bad player all over again except this time if we decide we want to make a run we can’t even do that. Hey guys, can we completely crap on Derek Lively some more? He’s just a 21 year old kid who’s lost both parents. The mavs traded away his All NBA PG, then misdiagnosed his injury, made him run on a broken foot, then botched his surgery. But yeah he’s totally injury prone at age 21… Let’s trade him for scraps 😀 Thanks, you guys are the best!!
