I love our team. We’re gonna win it not this season not next season but the season after. We will have back healthy and they will have played at least one year together if we can keep them and not get rid of anybody. We have a good team even the bench is pretty good. A lot of these guys are bench players or are going to be. And we just won three or four games in a row. I still think we’re gonna get sixth place and not have to be in the play in tournament I said this since the last half of the season last year when they didn’t quit and almost made the play in tournament. I said oh these guys really wanna do something so now I don’t want you trading anybody you got rid of DeAndre Ayton so he’s not a liability and it sucks because I thought he was gonna really help us like he’s doing for the Lakers right now it didn’t work out and that made me sad. I thought we had a real chance when we got him, but he kind of whined like a little baby and got his ass out of here the good thing is, we didn’t have to pay him full value now I got Lillard back and we have jrue Holliday and I hope he doesn’t leave because we need him. He’s still great and then we got all this young talent. Holy shit. I love these guys and shadeon sharpe, scoot Henderson, and our big guy in the middle Donovan Klingon. And then you got yang Hanson toumani Kamara and the love kid he is shooting lights out right now that Boy could come out and be six man of the year next year or even maybe this year I just don’t wanna get rid of any guys for the next three years including this year. Also, I was at game six when we played the Sixers in 1977 I was 11 years old. It was the greatest day ever I didn’t even get taken by my dad. It was my mom that took us. They knew I loved basketball so much but my dad had to work or something. I can’t remember that was also the scariest day of my life at that time because it was so loud it scared the shit out of me. And we didn’t get to leave for like six hours I mean the traffic was just stupid. Nobody wanted to go anywhere even on the freeway. People were standing outside their cars partying on the freeway. I look back on it now and I wish I was older at that time. I just remember we win and we beat Dr. J. That’s all I could think about. He was the guy to beat. We had a really good team back in that day. If you don’t believe me, go look at the roster from 1977 of the Portland Trailblazers. The 1976, 1977 season They had guys like Bill Walton Dave Twardzik Lionel Hollins, Herm Gilliam. Larry Steele. And Corky Calhoun. I remember all of them. Oh Wally Walker. Lloyd Neil and I know I’m forgetting somebody else and I’m sorry. I don’t have my poster in my bedroom anymore. It’s at my mom and dad’s house in my sister’s room. Rest in peace, sis. She was a diabetic. She died at 34 years old. We were two years and one day apart. I was April 1 she was April 2. I’m almost 60 now coming up this year 2026. I miss her every day, but the poster is still there and next time I go there, I am grabbing it. You know what it’s actually safe on the wall the way it is right now. No it’s not in mint condition because we put thumbtack in there. Lol what I wanna know how many people can say they still have that lineup of trailblazers. Lol hell it might even be worth some money. Lol I will let my daughter decide on that. I’m not gonna get rid of it, but I will give it to her. She’s about to be 20 on 12 January this year. Yes I started over at 40. Lol
