Idk what was impressive this last few games is they are starting to play team basketball.
They are passing the ball to the player in the best shooting position in the attack which is something only Deni and Sissoko did before.
Even Shadon is doing it significantly better than the begging of the season
Not sure how the Blazers are planning on developing Yang. They were up 20 by half time. I understand based on his productivity right now, you probably don't want him out there at the start of the 3rd and on from there, too much time for him to screw up. Okay, sure. We were still up by 20 at the start of the 4th. We basically stayed up by 20 the entire quarter. If you don't give him garbage time minutes, how is he supposed to develop? Instead you give him 2 minutes, and won't let him stay in the G-League. You could easily put him in at the start of the 4th, and take him out if he's playing bad. Or at least put him in with like 6 minutes left when we've been leading by 20 the entire time. That's exactly what garbage time minutes are for.
Vote deni for all star. He totally deserves it.
I've been watching the blazers since 1975. This team is in the same position that the 88 89 team was. 39 wins. 89 90 added Buck Williams then 59 wins. Having Lillard in the lineup next year I see a similar win total. Expecting gr8 things. This is a well constructed deep team when healthy.
