  1. It's happening. They're pumping his stock to trade him. It's about damn time too.

  2. He’s finally shooting consistently I hope he keeps it up for the remaining games

  3. He definitely plays like Damian Lillard. At this point, Brad has a tough decision on whether to trade Simmons or keep him. Personally, I’d keep Simmons. I do think we need an upgrade at the center position, especially since New York and Detroit have solid bigs, though Queta and Garza are clearly trying to prove they deserve their roles.

For us to make a deep playoff runβ€”or even win a championshipβ€”we need a fast-paced system similar to what the Indiana Pacers ran last season, the same style that pushed OKC to seven games. I believe Simmons fits perfectly into that. I’d love to see him play alongside JB and JT; he just needs a little space and pace to get quality shots, and having JB and JT around will give him plenty of open looks.

In the playoffs, we usually close games with a small-ball lineup anyway. That said, I still feel we’re missing an Al Horford–type player at the 5β€”someone who can stretch the floor, rebound, and defend

  4. About a month after he got to Boston, Simons said in an interview that he'd never known coaching like he was already getting. He said that, especially, the defensive coaching was teaching him things he'd never heard before in his life. Dude has a reputation as a poor defender, but apparently he was basically only ever asked to score. Boston's development staff has got to be the best in the league. Keep giving this guy his chance. He's still improving.

  5. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think this may be the first game in a while Joe actually used Simons right. For whatever reason, no matter how good he played, he would see the bench more after the half. We recognized he’s on a hot streak here and kept him in, and look what happened. He scored.
