Remember when we said Stew would’ve made a difference in the playoffs last year. KAT was held to 6 points by him and Paul Reed.
What also separates the Pistons from most contenders is that their best player actually takes both ends of the court seriously. When your star guard is getting chase down blocks, deflections and fighting through screens, it motivates everyone else on the roster to bring that same intensity on every possession. Can’t say that for most teams!
Knicks are starting to sound like Minnesota fans when it comes to KAT.
NBC, how are you giving the clown in the Supreme hat any airtime? Nobody wants to hear the last picked kid talk actual ball. He barely remembers the game and who was involved, what are we actually doing here?
Four person panel and only one person talked the entire time. That person is loud without saying anything of actual substance. This is what you want?
who's "Anthony Karl-Towns"
The pistons with less experience and Ivey and Stewart out were a shot away from pushing this Knicks team to 7. If you came into this yr thinking they’d run thru Detroit you’re mistaken
All this talk about KAT and not Brunson as the leader of the team with 0 assists?
You guys have to factor in how KAT is being used offensively. NY isn't giving him the ball at all in spots that he likes. This pace and space offense has its limitations when it comes to bigs. In Thibbs offense KAT was a major focal point. The were running pin downs and back screens to get KAT the ball. This new offense just hits the paint and passes for open 3's. When the team is hitting it looks great. It doesn't hide the flaws though. Last night i saw Yabuselle post up green and get right by him. I thought we should've went back to that a couple times. The offense doesn't allow for that though. KAT and Brunson rarely gets Screens set for them off-ball. Theres no movement in the offense. Its just hit the paint pass out for a 3. We need post touches and Pin downs for this man. The sad thing is, if we trade for giannis we would make changes in the offense for him to post up more. Why not do that for KAT?
The Knicks don’t have more talent then this pistons lmao wish yall stop saying that Cade is better then Brunson Jalen duren is playing like an all star ill take him over Kat any day! Where is all this damn talent the New York got?
Trade Kat for Giannis
Knicks fans cope more than any other organization. Other than OG your team is SOFT. Why is Brunson even remotely considered for MVP? Because of your market. Dude is one-dimensional. Gets his O like an artist. Defends like a wet paper bag. Cade is the most complete player in the NBA.
I hope everybody give the pistons they respect in the playoffs when they deliver
Bro said the knicks still prevailed last year as if they won the championship yall gotta redefine what success looks like in NY😂
Knicks will never ever win a title with soft ass KAT. Don't forget his stupid fouls. I'd be on that phone with Milwaukee every single day.
"Keep coughing up that ball."
You wish. Detroit had 15 turnovers in the game, and the Knicks turned them into 10 measly points.
The Knicks had 20 turnovers in which the Pistons scored 33 points off of them.
Detroit led in every metric coming out of the game last night. The Knicks better hope they don't get an early playoff matchup with Detroit this season.
Why are the Pistons not the topic of conversation 😂
The Pistons and Celtics are the best teams in the East.
Yeah Celtics are the best team in the east and its not even close.
DEEEEEETROIT BASKETBALLLLLLLLL
Pistons showed they would have won last season if ivey and stew played
Knicks traded 4 firsts for a guy that gets backed down in the post as if hes brunson
You guys picking the Knicks don't seem to understand a few things:
1. The pistons were the 6th seed last year. 1 seed this year!
2. Stew and Ivey were both injured for the series last year
3. The Pistons are just overall WAY better and still improving.
4. Knicks are at their peak and far to dependent on a 5'10" pg who doesn't play defense. Cade plays both ends very well.
5. Pistons are the toughest team in the association. Knicks are soft.
6. Pistons just beat them by 31 points without their second best player the Beast Duren.
But, go ahead pick the Knicks. We like the disrespect.
