I'm not a Quickley hater at all, in fact I see a lot of value in him, despite him having a bit of a rough patch lately. His main strength so far that I see him bring in countless games, even his bad ones, is transition defense. He is absolutely a competent defender. He might not come up with crafty steals or turnovers as much as Jamal Shead does, but he does defend well. And often enough, when the opposing team breaks out in transition, he is there and simply stops the ball, to slow down the play, often preventing easy points.
When he was lights out from threepoint range, he was a valuable asset, but I can imagine if he's a black hole that can't find his shot it will cost you. So far though, I've seen Gradey Dick struggle similary from three and still be very good in his minutes. Grady to be fair, is also a young player that is still gettting a lot better over time, which is less so for IQ being at or close to his prime already.
I'm happy you spoiled these two games for me. When they go behind this far, I can imagine putting off the game at some point, but now I will watch them through to the end. (and get mildly frustrated with BI missing so many threes, when I know he is better than this)
removing Jacob, gradey would automatically make the Raptors top 13 Team in NBA. Especially if we asked for nothing in return. If I'm walking around pulling 459 pound weight everyday when I cut that off I'll be Free. This is how I feel about Raptors. Jakobe can be Free to help the Raptors win more games in peace with sharing losing minutes with Gradey.
IQ is next on my list but if coaches count, I would throw Darko before IQ as a problem because Barrett can run the point the best on this team. We saw him run the point with Gradey an Jacob so he must can do that with better players more effectively.
I feel like the Raptors can be serious threats in the east if they become healthy (getting RJ back) and make 1 or 2 new signings preferably a center that is a 3&D center that can either be a back up to Mo Bamba or be a starter. They may need to bench Quickley at times for Shead as Quickly is inconsistent. I also feel like the team should not make a trade for a star or a role player like people on social media are saying. If they do then that ruins the depth of the team and doesn't make them as good as they can be. If you remember, the Raptors were the 2nd seed in the east at some point and the reason they fell to 4th is just due to injuries.
We had better do well this upcoming month because in February we have a brutal eight game stretch that includes a west coast road trip where we could lose every game.
The only hope for this season was gaining playoff experience as a unit. If they steal a series in the first round, there will be expectations next year. I’m beyond elated with my favourite team. They were on a 9 game win streak before RJ went down
Good video overall, just saying a perfect solution instead of trading Quickley is just running the point thru BI, Scottie or RJ. I think Raptors will slowly transition to having IQ be a 6th man type of scorer, not even having him not start but just reduce his creative touches and just focus on finishing. He has a quick release and can beat guys closing out but he has been asked to do too much due to RJ injuries the last few weeks.
As much as I cant stand quick sometimes the man is a spark plug raptors need players like that almost like Lowry. The raps lose motivation so easy guys like quick shead and Grady are crucial in those roles
Issue why SB wont get the recognition for votes in the All-Star because its about scoring which he is not but his IQ, Playmaking and defence makes up for that. Hope to see him there come February

Both IQ and Jakob's contracts are undesirable and worrisome. I think it would be good to see them get off 1 of those contracts
