  1. I'm in!
The east is open this year – make a push!
Davis gives us an amazing chance at getting to the finals.
    IQ/Jak/Ogbaji
    for
    Davis/Nembhard and a 1st (protected).
Raptors great medical staff might be able to help him stay healthier than usual.
Still must make a trade to get a solid back up PG ready to break out, wasted on someone's bench (use Grady or Walter) to get one.

  2. I’d rather give up little for Trae young than anything for Davis, we already have one center who doesn’t play

  3. 2019: Raptors trade for an injury prone Superstar. Everybody doubts them, they win a championship
2026: Raptors can trade for an injury prone Superstar. Everybody is doubting them. Why can't we do it again?

  4. Raptors needs to forger all these trade rumors.
Jacob is the problem. We have a good Team. If you don't illuminate the problem it will alway be there.

Raptors are a young team, there is no need to run out and kill yourself to get 2 broken players with bad contracts and injuries on your team.

Raptor are in the driver's seat. They have CMB they don't have to beg. They have SB, and scoring duo in BI l and RJ.
Raptors should focus on drafting 2 centers next year instead of following hype train for clout.

  5. ben – take a chewable vitamin C tablet every morning, get way more sleep, your body will recover. I don't want Trae he is not an upgrade other than possibly his mastery of foul-baiting

  6. Trae Young is a ball hogger. That is against the Raptors culture so I wouldn't put any bets on him

  7. We don't need AD. Brooklyn neta have said they will accept a unprotected first and other assests for Nic Claxton. Give them Poetl, Dick, 2026 pick and a future top 5 protected first round pick for Claxton and Clowney

  8. If Trae comes here on a bargain deal i don't see how anyone can complain.

Quickley, Ochai, Mogbo and Temple for Young. Salary virtually matches. Do it up if that's all it takes. This is not even mentioning his contract is a player options next year. So it's not like we'll have his contract on the books for long term

  9. if we’re only giving up like Gradey & Quick and a couple 2nd rounders then maybe..Other then that hell no..Stay with the youngsters and let it ride no need to rush this process

  10. I would be willing to do this three team trade that gives some insurance behind AD and his injury history. Jakob is also becoming in a similar boat so maybe at the right price the risk is worth it.
The three team trade would be:

    Raptors Get:
(MAV) ANTHONY DAVIS (increasing $54.1M)(3yr with PO)
    (NET) DAY'RON SHARPE (flat $6.2 M) (2yr with TO)
Team becomes $2.9M under the Cap

    Mavericks Get:
(RAP) JAKOB POELTL (increasing 19.5M)(5yr with only 5M guaranteed in yr5)(Poeltl can be traded after Jan 7, 2026)
(RAP) IMMANUEL QUICKLEY (flat $32.5M) (4yr)
    (RAP) 2026 RD 1
(RAP) 2026 RD 2 (via LAL)
    (RAP) 2027 RD 2
Team becomes $2.1M under the Cap

    Nets Get:
(RAP) GRADEY DICK (increasing $4.5M)(2 yr with TO)
    (RAP) OCHAI AGBAJI ($6.3M) 1yr
Team increases salary by $5.1M but remains under the Cap by $10.3M

    Cheers!

  11. I cant see this happening.. Having to match salaries which of the starters will get traded? Are we just trading an injured center for another injured center? If we are not trading Jak.. which of the Raps starter is getting traded?

  12. The raptors need a center. AD does not like playing center. Forcing him to play center will only exacerbate his injury problems

  13. This would be a disastrous move, unless it was simply a deal you couldn’t refuse. Davis is constantly injured, aging, and expensive.
