So, the Nuggets aren't quite as helpless without Jokic as you might think. I think Adelman might even have to make a decision on whether Braun or Watson should be the starting 2 guard. Watson has blossomed with more playing time.
Speaking of Watson, I'm intrigued by his shooting form. If you look at guys like Brown, Murray, White and Simons, their shooting form is immaculate; elbow tucked in, shoulders square to the basket, left hand just there to support, follow through with the shooting motion. Watson shoots right foot and and right shoulder forward, his shoulders at an angle to the basket.
It's not terrible or anything; Durant uses it, Lebron greatly improved his shooting stroke when he started doing it, and Watson had himself a hell of a game with it. I just think that with the right arm forward, there's always a danger of your elbow flaring out if you aren't paying attention to your form. Of course, what works, works, and Watson has been shooting better this season than ever before.
Peyton Watson has developed into an incredible player. A player with good defense and athletic abilities even has a 3-pointer😊
