young is a high usage guard that can head a pick and roll based offense with his floater, deep range, and he can make every read in the book with bounce passes, lobs, transition hit aheads, kick outs, throws some manipulation in there with lookaways and blending his dribble to mask whether he’s going to pass or not. He can break down switches and touch the paint almost whenever he wants. However, he turns the ball over far too often in traffic. When the whistles dry up he’s not efficient in the paint besides his floater, doesn’t use his left hand that much at the rim, and he’s an average athlete. He can get by his man but he’s a bad finisher around bodies and despite having one of the prettiest strokes off the dribble and catch in the league, he’s a streaky shooter who can go through cold spells and his shot selection can get crazy. Sometimes he’ll bomb way beyond the arc early in the clock, and defenses will live with those shots. He doesn’t have much of a midrange game and when trapped/doubled, he can cough the ball up. He can also make questionable decisions when defenses rush him in hedges. Right now he’s a high volume player who isn’t contributing to winning, but maybe that could change. Maybe. He turns the ball over a lot, his shot can be inconsistent results wise, and the finishing at the rim stuff is problematic. Amazing floater that he can get off anytime and that makes up for some of it. He can’t play off the ball largely because he doesn’t shoot a lot off the catch, and he’s best used when the usage is on him all the time. His defense is a whole other story, dies on screens, lacks motor, and generally teams target him everytime he’s on the floor, it’s the effort stuff that’s concerning. He can be a floor raiser for a team, but when it comes to the really helping it, not sure. This season hasn’t been good, very polarizing player.
I’ve never heard any NBA player say that they want to go to Washington!!!

As a totally unbiased party, I can see the upside for both sides. CJ isn't a scrub player. Kispert can knock down 3s at a high clip & stretch the floor. If they are able to get Anthony in exchange for Porzingis, Zach R, & Kennard, they would have a pretty solid playoff rotation on paper. Guards: Dyson Daniels, CJ McCullum, Vit Krejci, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Forward rotation of Jalen Johnson, Corey Kispert, & AD. Okongwu at Center with AD playing some there too. They should be able to beat a few teams.
Then on the other hand, the Wizards haven't had a notable star in what feels like a decade, but probably closer to 6-7 years. They have cap space, and a young core. Their assist leader is a small forward, so they needed a PG. Trae will sell tickets & put fans in the seats. i know the NBA is evolving away from small PGs that cant defend, but not much of a gamble really.
Hopefully we can witness Dyson Daniel’s take over this organization along with Jalen Johnson in the new Atlanta hawks regime👨🏾🍳 Kristaps & Cj McCollum are solid scoring veteran assets…. Nykiel Alexander walker is another trade piece…..😊

Please understand that some organizations don’t make moves to win. The revenue sharing contributes to that position. Same as some players.,the goal is to make the most money. They want the bottom line. Money,money, money.

The Hawks are in rebuilding mode I don't like this trade the Hawks should've traded Trae Young to the Hornets for La'Melo Ball but trade C.J. McCollum, Corey Kispert, to the Rockets for Reed Sheppard, Isaiah Crawford Hawks franchise trade for Cam Thomas, Michael Porter Jr, Nic Claxton do not trade for AD or Zion Williamson they're both stay injured in that order!
