Watching the Lakers play was just embarrassing from start to finish. Aside from Dončić and Laravia, there wasn’t a single real basketball player on the roster who could actually take a proper shot. Everyone else lacked confidence, couldn’t shoot, and was only focused on passing the ball off to someone else to take responsibility. This should have been a 40-point blowout, but San Antonio’s scoring was just as pathetic, so it somehow ended up being closer than it should have. I forced myself to keep watching, but by the third quarter I’d had enough and just shut my monitor.
