  1. These days in the NBA, in order to sign a star player, you have to have a star already there to attract the 2nd star. It's about attracting that next star to go with the young players they have in order to contend.

  2. Big win for my spurs…glad we never got him…my spurs need another lottery pick to contend with the thunder and everyone else in the league…we'll see where that pick lands…

  3. Trae is a losing player that is Charmin soft.

Of course they didnโ€™t get much for himโ€ฆ

  4. As a long suffering Wizards fan, I just want this franchise to become respectable. Right now they seem like a G League team playing in the NBA. A hot streak for this team is not losing games by 25 points.

  5. Trae is not what killing the Hawks They don't rebound well and they might as well kept Nate MacMillan instead of hiring Quinn Snyder I mean he does know more about basketball then me but I think they should have hired the Houston coach that they have now when he was hoping anyone would give him a chance to be a head coach again and they need a legit 7 ft center that can rebound

  6. Wiz rent Young for the rest of the year. Spurs dumped Zach Collins bloated contract last season in the Fox trade. Did they look into dumping Devin Vassell's bloated contract for Trae Young? Throw in some scrubs to match salary and the Hawks unprotected 2027 FRP the Spurs own. Wemby-Sochan-Castle-Young-Fox-Harper-Bryant-Kornet would all mask Young's bad defense. Trae Young wanted to play with Wemby. So opt out after this season and sign a $30mill FA contract with the Spurs.

  7. This trade opened up the Hawks putting KP and Kennard into a Davis trade. If I was the Hawks though I would not include Risacher or any real draft capital. You maybe do a pick swap with Dallas with Davis being the best player in the trade, but ultimately the trade is just about moving around expiring contracts on guys seeking more money than any team is likely willing to pay them.

  8. Great analysis good trade for washington bec they didn't give up any 1st round draft pick even if he walk from 40 mil per yr i but i disagree on ATL bec ever since they trade Luca and Trey young and cam reddish not working out for then not getting a first for Trae sucks for them getting McCollum and kispert is not enough for me i know they playing well and Trae has a lot of deffiency the defense end and he has a player option but his still offensive engine and his an all star i guess they didn't want to wait but getting 2 rotation players is good and they don't have to pay Trae i guess this what happens with the new NBA to bad for franchise NBA team when they have a franchise player who has a disgruntled star like Morant and an injury prone like ad

  9. Waste of a trade..

    Wasted talent on both sides..

Fucc the contracts, only win is last yr on the deal….

  10. Jalen Johnson is good, Iโ€™m just wondering how much more he impacts winning than Trae young ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ โ€ฆ.eh

  11. This is a worthless trade for all partiesโ€ฆ No one must like nor want Trae Young (undersized).

  12. Youngโ€™s trade value tanked that is why the Hawks traded him within the division basically in a salary dump move.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  13. They traded young bec he is defensive liability, and Hawks identity is switching in all position plus they want to have the flexibility in the future. That is also why they sent Hunter to the Cavs

  14. Wouldn't it be a face palm moment if San Antonio ended up back in the lottery with Atlanta's pick…..
