Be honest. They scraped together 3 wins. A waved off 3 vs the raptors. Anemic close to the 4th and ot vs the 76ers and a defensive rebound away from choking.
Pwatts athelicism is such a pleasure to watch! I mean, even when he misses a dunk, the rebound has so much energy and he does the whole thing in such a nimble confident way, as if he's discovering his own superpowers still. And he is passionate about the game more than anyone else in Denver, no one blocks like him, no one has a vertical like him, he is on a pace of perfecting his 3s with AG and Jamal and if he is learning positioning from Joker…well, then NBA has a problem. I watch Nuggets since 2022 and Peyton + CB were always on my list for starters in the future. I'm so glad to see his growth.
Watson has been a Monster. He was mostly known for his Defense. During this past off season he was working more on his offensive abilities, and he got a lot better and now it's starting to show. He is a beast that has been slept on. Honestly nothing against Christian Braun, but I think Watson should have that starting spot. Let's keep it going Nuggets. 💪⚒️.
Nuggets are 100% losing him this summer. it's sad but he's emerging on his last contract year so teams this summer we'll be offering him some big ass contracts that the nuggets won't be able to match.

Hope we can keep him. He can command quite a bit of salary at this point and we need to keep Spencer for sure.
If gordon keeps getting hurt, time to move off of him and replace him with Watson. He just needs to bulk up a little more

I'm so so so proud of Payton Watson and the Nuggets. They are playing so much better than I thought they would with all these injuries.
Not to mention, AG is playing off the bench. Taking a smaller role but still playing really well on his minutes.
