It’s called a Napoleonic complex and Vince Carter was there during his young years so he never got a voice! Also he doesn’t defend. Never has in his career back to youth
Shout out to Brad and Tyler! Always great conversation 🫡
Trae’s athletic decline is a great point and probably why he’s no longer a top 12-15 player in the league. Even though he probably cannot dunk he had a great first step and was very twitchy, but he’s probably lost about 15% of that . A lot of people say it because his three-point shot isn’t falling the way it once was, but I think the shot not falling like it once was cause harder for him to create separation because already smallest guy on the court and you have to try to score on bigger players and you’re not as fast as you were. The shots are even tougher than I already were and he took the toughest reason in the league of anybody everything was off the dribble from 20-22
I’m a huge Hawks fan as well as an Arizona Cardinals fan. I’ve always thought Tray and Kyler Murray have had very similar careers. Both small. Both crazy skilled. Both awkward with the media early in their careers. Both major disrespected by the National media and a lot of fans. Both won nothing, etc. etc. And ironically both went to Oklahoma.
i’ll never be attached to a player like that ever again in any sport for the rest of my life. I went to war for Trae and will continue to do
Hey Brad shoutout to you guys as always .. very sad days in Atlanta 😅.. what’s your thoughts on the trade not being announced yet ? Nothing burger or could be expanded ?
18:41 so he can't make mistakes? as they have done around him for years? YEARS. Come the hell on.
Brad! I don’t like to tell you I TOLD YOU SO!!! BUT DAMN IT!! I TOLD YOU SO!! I was a huge Trae fan when we drafted him. But I feel like Trae got way too comfortable after the Hawks gave him that over 200 million dollar contract. He got married and had a kid. He lost that chip on his shoulder in proving himself to his doubters. His efficiency went way down. I was a little disappointed in not getting a draft pick. But I do like CJ!! He still has juice in the tank and he will really help us the rest of the season. But Trae will always be missed even though it was time to go separate ways.
Brad, thank you for the show.
I am a Hawks fan, I wish Trae Young nothing but success in his future.
24:04 what you saw on the floor was a team that didn't play log enough together that then got wins against some of the worst teams in the damn league. What you saw was when trae did play the teams they face win percetages were a damn near 15% better than the opponents they faced… Like come on….
26:20 then give him time…. like the hell. he's played in 10 games… 10 games is enough to adjust? Really?
With all my complaints love the pod and still my favorite guest of the pod. thanks
