Honestly, I can’t believe going after Coby White. Coby is a good player who averages just under 20 points, but that’s largely because he’s been given a big role on a doormat Chicago team. If he came to the Wolves, he’d probably be more like a 13–15 PPG guy, which isn’t a huge difference from DDV. On top of that, he’s expected to get a pay raise starting next year. In that case, we can’t keep DDV, and we’d end up in the second apron. And if we’re including Rob as part of the return, I don’t see how trading for Coby with a player you could have controlled for three more years is a good move. And to begin with, Coby isn’t really a point guard. If Ant is going to be the primary ball-handler anyway and Coby is just running off screens and taking catch-and-shoot jumpers, then honestly, why isn’t DDV good enough?

Bulls want DD and Beringer back. Dilly ain't cutting it.
That said I do think it's something both should think about, gives Wolves a solid 7 for playoffs, or I guess if they keep DD could include Miller, Dilly, TSJ, and Beringer, but Beringer IS the only way this goes down.
Adding Coby White feels like adding another Donte to the team, would love a PG like Andrew Nembhard from indi guy is a walking assist and point machine.

Other than D. Fox from the Spurs, Coby White on the Wolves is my choice. He can shot create and he is 6'5, not the best defensively but I'm sure he will buy in come playoff time.
Don’t think Minnesota has the assets to get this done. Plus, what’s the contract for the extension.

they could do dilly, tj, lenny, and bones + 2nd rounder for White (and some cash back due to Chi restrictions) to make the cap math work. then wolves convert a couple two-way players to guaranteed contracts this season and are in catbird position to resign White in offseason (he won't sign an extension because of % raise limits on extension being far less than his true market value). Bulls can flip or reroute some of those players to other teams as part of expanded deal if they want to convert young players to picks. a 5-for-1 on expiring white and Twolves consolidating 4 bench players into a key starter at role and skill of need be a win-win. gitter dun
