I meant to comment yesterday saying I agreed with your take on Ja. I just have a bad feeling that Ja isn't as injury prone as it seems because if you look at each injury, any player could have come down with any of them. It seems more like bad luck than his body being bad. That being said, I completely understand people wanting to move on. I've never been to Tennessee, but I'm Grizzlies for life, and I'll miss the excitement

All injured has a return date of the 15th so hopefully we see an uptick in Grizz quality play. Also, on why the criticism about JJJ is because we hear it every episode. There is so much wrong with this team than trip, for instance, most of the comments have already been out on the bum coach but you're just getting here and it's been obvious. For instance, the next reliable person should have been Santi Aldama and he does nothing to move the needle. If we are winning sometimes he help but if we losing, he is never the person to make a play to turn the tides. We never hear the criticism of him. Or, the fact that CC sorta slumped onced moved to the starting line up, you said nothing about that. Also how when KCP went down, the team really looked bad, the worst they ever looked. So now with the players we have here, how do we maximise them……..we just hear what trip didn't do. Lazy reporting, then when trip carries the team, it back handed big ups. Go back and watch your take. Not trying to come down on you lil bruh but you asked and made a big deal about it and I'm just answering it. Debating is debating but it seems like we need more breadth from you as a true Memphian that you are, not like the outsiders that like to dump on our team just for clicks. A lot of us are homers and love anything with Memphis attached to it and want you to succeed but step it up and bring a bit more than that one issue of trip aint this and trip aint that. The only coaching option I like is Mike Malone. I want a proven coach. Someone who will hold players accountable. Whoever the coach is need to able to tell Ja & Jaren that the team has moved in a new direction with Coward. They will be 2nd & 3rd option.
JJJ is not HIM. I hear the salary cap will go up over the next couple of year and Jaren's deal will seem like a discount. Malik can you speak on that? Either way I think Jaren is a under performer he should only be a third option on a team. Ja and JJJ had their chance to be the focal point. If Ja stays he should be paid as a third option. I think Memphis should persure Micheal Porter Jr. He also should be paid as a third option for any future contracts. With the new CBA the third option might be 35 or 45 mil a year.
I agree on Tyler Herro. I don't think he's a good fit for the Grizzlies, even if he's healthy. Ja still has great value to the right team. Frankly, I think he's been slacking on the Grizzlies because he's unhappy with the the new system. In the process, he's hurting the team and himself.
So basically the Grizzlies trying to give our franchise players away for some BS and the fanbase suppose stick around to rebuild again and continue this vicious cycle 🤦🏽♂️
