The Blazers became my favorite team last season that .500 run after the break and just being a hard fighting young starting 5 was so much fun to watch and this year even with so many guards out Deni, Toumani, DC and Sharpe with help from Cidy and Kris are just putting it all together and look like a close knit team that plays for each other. When Scoot and Holiday are back this season they could really start to dominate teams 🙏 RIP City!
Love has been one of the biggest steals this year the kid looks like a lottery pick out there, him and Jenkins from the pistons both look amazing this season!
Yeah, people keep saying play in spot, but they can easily get a top 6 seed given the remaining schedule and health will only get better/the players playing will only keep getting better than they already are. The only top seed the Blazers haven't beaten are the Wolves and they were the first matchup of the season, which happened to be a win for the Blazers until Edwards caught fire and began his early season MVP talks.. Edwards straight after the game said "you can't walk into Portland expecting a win anymore." I don't think the Wolves are finishing the season with a positive record against the Blazers if I was a betting man.

And the whole Chauncey Billups debacle keeps fading into history the better this team gets!!! Remember when all the talking heads said that gambling scandal was going to destroy this franchise??? I haven't heard much about that lately!! Baaahaaaaahaaaa!! GO BLAZERS!!!
One of the diccerences is Splitter is just letting Deni run things. Billups never would have given him this much freedom. With Jrue out along with Scoot Deni, sharpe and even Clingan are running things. At times Deni absolutely looks like the best player on the court.
ClingKong finding his offense is flying under the radar with how good Deni is balling out, he’s gonna be a huge problem for the league if he keeps getting more aggressive in the paint and dialing in that 3pt shot opening that lane for Deni n Scoot n Shae to feast.
With starting sidy..a poor two player(plays good at times), Rupert, yang, n love.. WILD. Hooow haha. Really want our other guys to trickle back in..Wesley, thybulle, holiday, scoot, grant
5:38 I’d say the opposite. It’s more likely they fall off just due to long term fatigue with this limited squad. It’s incredible they’re able to win and stay competitive in these games, but they’re gonna need their depth back to keep this performance up especially for the post-Allstar break stretch.
Their recent performance is a result of the hard work of the coaching staff and the players but the organization’s management is doing nothing to help. Any competent front office would have waived Blake Wesley like what team keeps a player who is injured till march when season’s almost over on the roster who’s making a minimum. Then, they should use their hardship exception and the cleared roster spot to get someone, just anyone who can shoot 3s and play point, which they have “found” in Caleb love but let’s be honest he only got good recently and he was madly inconsistent while they were losing and the front office was doing nothing back then.
As a lifetime Rip City fan? All I can say is, IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME. Solid drafting, wise trades, and some REAL surprises. It's a solid franchise. They have 2 dudes who could easily contend for 6th man of the Year if they keep it rolling.
As much as injury's suck it does give great opportunities for other guys to go and play, really have some time on the court so when your healthy stars return, now you have a bench that had lots of time on the whetstone so to speak

Us Oregonians sure as hell knew what was coming we all saw what happened last year, especially the second half. I think we will get sixth place or above this year. Next year, everybody will jail together really well and the year after that, we will win it. Said that since last year.
As a native born Portlander I can't even begin to express the immense joy and hope we've felt as a city. We still have a ways to go (still worried about staying healthy due to our long unfortunate history of injuries) but I haven't felt this hopeful since the Roy/Aldridge/Oden days. But even moreso.
