Better off sticking with IQ
Make it happen!!! I.Q is too inconsistent. Ja would buy in on this new team having great players around him like Scottie, B.I, RJ and a great young bench. He already has a good relationship with Darko and this team would be very electric and fun to watch. Lots of people would tune in to see Raptors games that haven't before.
IQ, Ochai, 1st rd pick = Ja & Edey
We desperately need to trade IQ (along with dick and ochai) but idk if Ja would be a good fit. I think a more traditional, pass first PG who can shoot the 3 well would be better. Dont need another ball dominant player.
as long as its not AD i'm fine with Bobby doing what he thinks is best to contend to get Rogers off his back
i'd try MEM JJJ for 3x UFRPs (unprotected) and iQ (or RJ+Ochai)
if they say no then sure do what ESPN offered i guess

If Raptors trade for Ja… we need to include a clause that he has to participate in the dunk contest.

Hard headed is a major red flag
if the asking price is so low that you can essentially get him for IQ, you probably have to consider it. The fit is a bit weird, but he does provide some qualities which would be welcome from our starting PG – rim pressure, transition play, ability to handle the ball under pressure, and court vision/playmaking ability. And somehow the Raptors are an undefeated 7-0 when they are shooting under 25% from 3, so at least we've shown we're capable of winning that way, though probably not best to lean into that too much. I think Garland is the guy you should try to get instead, or maybe even Lamelo as both don't require you to give up IQ's volume 3pt shooting while bringing other needed qualities to the table. With Ja you probably have to then prioritize shooting elsewhere (which apparently we did when we checked in on Trey Murphy).
The risk outweighs the reward for multiple reasons you mention. When evaluating the pros and cons, the concerns associated with acquiring Ja significantly outweigh the benefits. Hard pass for me.

Im tired of the IQ slander. I don’t see many PG able to player better than him in this rôle Where he have to be low usage for a PG, shoot 3 at a good % and play defense. If ja or Trae was at his place we would ask for trade those guy

I think trae's skillset (minus being a pylon on D) was better suited for this team, particularly the ability to consistently hit a 3. Ja is a worse shooter and RJ fills the wing slasher role as it is right now. IQ is not up to his contract but I'd rather stick with that vs a guy who has toxic history and is just overall not the type of personality the FO would want around
If the Raptors should trade for anyone, it should be Collin Sexton. It's going to take three firsts and three seconds to just get off IQ's contract, but the cap relief would allow the Raptors to pay their guys and allow us to keep key bench pieces like MAMU.
Also, Sexton practically has the same production as IQ, and he can score the ball on some damn good efficiency.
Unless we somehow con them into taking jak and quick and they also throw in edey or Santi i don't think this is a good nove

Morant is done. He has a bad attitude, can have a poor work ethic, and is getting paid way more than he is worth. He'd sink the Raptors like Beal did to the Suns.

Very accurate description of the risks with a Morant trade. Despite frustration with IQ's fit or contract, I get the feeling the Raptors would be jumping from one frying pan to another. Also the projected trades would include a first round pick.
Too many casuals remember he averaged 26pts/8ast only few years back shooting 45/30/75, under Dario he will shine. He has something to prove and is unhappy in Memphis.
From the available and rumored PG, Lamelo is the better fit stylistically and culturally.
I’m sorry but this would be the silliest deal ever. Everyone’s complaining about IQ’s play this year yet he’s playing better than Ja. Ja and Scottie have to be two of the worst fitting NBA players. JA got upset when The Grizzlies didn’t run enough P&R last season because he didn’t get the ball enough, even though The Grizzlies were paying GREAT offensively he still hated it. He’s a potential cancer on a worst contract than Quick. Hard PASS on this trade. I would have preferred Trae by a long shot and he’s a terrible fit lol.

I am open to trading IQ. Not a Ja fan. Would trade IQ for Rozier, Jakucionis and 1 other sweater. Then let the rest of season play out, and recalibrate in off season
