If he magically starts to play defense…I'd still say no
Idk about this one
Cade needs help! In the playoffs, Cade will see 3 defenders. Thompson can't do anything on offense but dunk! So that's an easy double team right there! Or a zone. Cade will need help!
Cade MPJ Ivey Ausar Stew
Porter will be averaging 13-17pts per game on this team…Plus defense and chemistry might be off..NO..get J. Grant back from Portland..
I’m not against this. I think it’s lazy to say he won’t fit. He’ll plays enough D, he’s won a title & gives us exactly what we need for the playoffs. His contract isn’t bad either.
MPJ for sure. Outrebounds and outshoots Harris. I've seen too many wide open bricks from Harris this season.
Nets is tanking. So they want to trade MPJ.
Stop speaking on the pistons if yall ain’t gone respect they grind mike don’t like em cuz it’s a all black city and all black team talk tigers and red wings fck ya sun dodging bleach demons always talking down on my YNs
We don’t need Porter Jr. The pistons have a solid identity and are playing like my beloved 2004-2006 squad. Team ball play the right way like coach Brown dominating inside scoring no 3 ball every possession. We are playing early mid 2000’s hard nose pistons basketball. Keep the core intact they are getting better after every game. Deeeeeeetroit Basssssssketbaaaallll!
It’s Trey Murphy or no one. Only player that not only elevates the starting lineup, but also fits the mold and contract is peanuts compared to the other guys
Porter Jr is the best move. He hasn’t scored the ball like this since his high school days and teams around the league know that. So he won’t cost as much as other perennial 25-30 point guys. He’s still pretty young (27), high volume 3P shooter his whole career (which we need desperately), good size at 6”10 with decent defensive capabilities (at worst he’d be as good as Tobias) and fills a positional need where he’d be a direct upgrade over what we currently have. Contract is hefty but he comes off the books after next season which could potentially open the door for Ron to take over from there with his rookie deal ending at that same time.
