  1. I think Peyton Watson is a future perennial All Star. Watson is versatile and dynamic everywhere. How many players are you happy to have almost anywhere on the court at any point in the game on offense or defense in almost any matchup?

And because of his youth, he's extending the Nuggets championship window and building into a leadership role after the AG and Jokic's (and maybe Murray's) careers are over.

Watson is a dangerous enough shooting threat from anywhere that he spaces the floor and provides off ball pressure. His athleticism lets him be strong inside too.

I almost can't think of a team or a rotation that wouldn't be happy to have PWatt.

This month, Watson is averaging 24/7/4/1/1 on 50/52/69 while shooting over 5 3s a game. Come on. 52% 3 point shooter? What are we talking about? Jimmy Butler never got within 10% of that in any month of his career. This month, Watson is averaging a higher ppg than Butler or Anunoby ever had during the regular season.

The only 3 players I'd be upset to be involved in a trade designed to keep Watson are Jokic, Murray, and AG. I don't want to trade THJ and I think trading Val after keeping him from going to Europe would be unethical, and CB can't be traded until November, but if the only way to make the numbers work so the Kroenkes will agree to whatever they need to pay Peyton is to trade Val or THJ, I'd understand it being done.

  2. I would love for pwat to start and be the stagger once jokic comes back. Allow him to continue to be aggressive in the non jokic minutes

  3. Don’t forget, PWAT’s average is Low right now only because he didn’t have the playing time to start the season, now he’s getting playing time he’s 20+ per game! And he’s only 23, the age of most college.grads – he’s a potential superstar in the making!

  4. Package Zeke, Cam, Strawther, even Holmes!!! Pay and Keep PSWaT!!!!
@Kroenkes!!!! This is 1 Time in NBA History to BUY JOKER the TEAM!!! Spend Your Freaking Money!!! PSwat is a Gem, a Knight on The Chess Board where Joker is the Queen !!!

  5. The better Pwatt plays the more expensive he gets. Cam literally just got played out of his position and contract, CB is proven but atm he is playing bad, Zeke and Julian just are the biggest losers out of this. These are good problems to have but yeah. Good Luck Nuggets Fans.

  6. I always compared Jaden's potential to Mikal Bridges and I'm seeing how they could both be similar to P-Wat. Lockdown defending forwards that also blossomed offensively later on aside from hitting open 3s. Jerami Grant was also a great comp that falls into this category. He was in the same situation as we're discussing now where he could be their 3rd or 4th best option offensively and maybe grow too much to stay on the team in the future and he'll command a big contract like Jerami did, which sucked because they really could've used a two-way guy like him to finally make that championship run

  7. The Kroenkes would be fools not to keep everyone amd dive head first into the 2nd apron. They have an opportunity to win mutiple championships right now. THAT will have a return on investment when their framchise is worth far more with a bigger fanbase

  8. A guy that I didn't hear in the PWAT comps – what about Andre Iguodala? During his Philly years, he was an 18/5/5 + 2 stocks guy and was considered one of the best defenders in the leauge. By the time he played in Denver he was more of a role player, but I think they both fit the bill of great defenders who are able to score as well. PWat might be a better shooter but Iggy could knock em down too.

  9. There is no reason to trade Pwat ,if nuggets do they are crazy, only 23 years , he can be as good if not better than Ant man ,if you trade him bring Antman to Nuggets.

  10. Mal TOOK OVER and I love it when he does. He literally said we got it and rattled off like 14 straight or something and I had work so I only caught like the last 15 minutes total

  11. Pay Watson what he is worth to keep him. It WILL be worth it. Not doing it would be a mistake that would be regretted in Denver for a decade. I am not kidding.
