Having a veteran PG would definitely help Fears learn the role
First it starts with coaching.We don’t have any structure and discipline.ANYONE! On the court can do anything they want to with the ball in there hands at anytime.I think we need a coach who gives precise instructions on who should be doing what with the ball.Most of the time it seems like I’m watching an AAU basketball game
Great point to brother I do agree with a Mike Conley type guard/mentor to come in and guide Jeremiah and you don’t have to worry about a veteran guard being jealous of the young man so it would be a great addition
I want lonzo ball 🤷🏿♂️ we dont need a p&r pg because queen not really a roll man. We need a PG that could 3pt shooter, defend, smart, play fast and a good passer
@melz Pelicans Digest I totally agree with you about Fears. Been noted. He's trying to make everyone see and say it's his team along with Queen for certain though. He needs to be coached mentally and given a point guard to compliment him
Trade away dejounte Murray, Jordan Poole (guy is extremely volatile). Deandre Jordan is more of a team captain at this point so he’s okay for now. Kevin Looney I’m on the fence about him. Jordan Hawkins is probably out of here with the rookies filling that spot. Zion I think you have no choice but to keep him seeing as how much value Trae young got. KEEP Jose, Yves, Jeremiah, Derik, Saddiq, Herb, and anybody else I haven’t named. Throw away the medical staff because I never seen so many injuries before in an organization in the NBA. New arena new image. But it’s wishful thinking.
I think we already have the veteran PG that will help Fears and his name is Dejounte Murray. If Murray wants to stay here, he would be a great player/mentor to learn from.

Pels in two years yall gona realize that Joe Dumars draft was horrible and put this team further back. Both Fear and Queen are not it folks. Two years yall will be ready to get them gone.
We’d be given a few Nationally Televised game if we signed CP3 for his farewell

MIN saves $1.5M, and we still stay juuuuust under the cap. They have 14 guys on their roster rn so they can do a 2 for 1.
GTA gets 25 minutes a night for them, and none of their scorers lose any shots. And MIN needs defensive help at the POA rn. Also gives them more time to try and develop Dillingham for next season.
My favorite part of it all: Jose gets to play deep into the playoffs, probably helping him secure a BAG this summer. He deserves it, and I hope he gets the chance to show that in the playoffs!
Conley mentors Fears, someone else pays Hawkins next year, and Pelicans get a second round pick at a time when they have none for the foreseeable future.
What about looking at adding Isaiah Thomas that’s playing with the Suns
Could Feats be more of a shooting guard and bring in another PG
We need to trade Jordan Poole ! Our team is really great ! We don’t need Jordan Poole! No defense! To many turn overs
I say keep Jose & trade Poole. We get worse both ways with him on the court.
Salary dump & get a pick, get someone experienced who has an expiring contract who can fill in until Dejounte gets back & let Fears run the backup sg for right now (What Poole is doing).
Let’s worry about that development in the offseason & get back on the winning track. Dejounte is more than capable of being that mentor to Fears, no reason to let go of Jose.
CP3 would be so good for Fears development 🙏
