The regular season series are only there to build hype going in the playoffs. It doesn't mean anything in a playoff series though because in the playoffs, you're only preparing for that one team you're facing. You get no back to backs and you aren't traveling all week. Just look at the 23 Suns, they swept the Timberwolves 3-0 in the regular season and ended up getting swept 0-4 in the playoffs against the same team.
As far as the Spurs and Thunder, if the teams are allowed to play, the edge goes to the Spurs. Obviously, everything is contingent on Wemby staying healthy enough though. As for the Nuggets, they'll NEVER be heavily favored anymore, but they have a chance to win any series as long as Jokic is healthy enough. If all teams were healthy and able to play, I'd give the edge to the Spurs or Timberwolves. We've seen it multiple times this season, when teams are allowed to play, OKC has lost multiple times…to who….the Spurs and Timberwolves.

Sucks For Coach Malone. All he had to do was go through the growing pains of playing the younger players and let them develop. Then Denver could have had more help vs okc last season. But since he ran the starters into the ground and didn’t trust the young guys, he gets fired. Adelman made a choice to play the younger guys this year on top of the injuries and they’re starting to develop into contributing players. Denver could be 10-12 deep going into the playoffs this year

The way that season is forming it seems nuggets will get healthy just before playoff.
However, Okc is champion, they will have home court advantage over any team, including denver. This will be a lot to overcome.
