as a duke fan and someone who’s picked JJ in fantasy three years in a row, he’s a DAWG. always underrated and now finally getting his flowers. easy an all nba talent this year
He's literally Bron lit with his scoring, playmaking, and feel for the game. I was absolutely gutted when we traded ice, but I'm excited to see the Jalen era in full effect.
It poses the question why not stay in school if it takes that much development? You could get an education and make fiends and so on and develop or go to nba with no skills
Maybe that deal is the best the Hawks could get but I wouldn't say they did well. I feel like they could've at least favored getting first round picks > CJ and Kispert for Trae if they're trying to build a future. They didn't wanna pay him the big bucks, fair enough, but even during this 'down year' trae has had he's still an all-nba calibre guard. Not saying it would've been much better deal just strange to me to exchange trae for two role players instead of gambling on two young guys who could be more than that. guess we'll see what happens
Nice to see my ATL 🔥 Hawks 🦅 finally being Respected
Read between the lines, Nate Mcmillan is a bad coach and he doesn't understand NBA Talent. Always been that way.
This Hawks are fun to watch. I've been a fan sents 1968. 🏀
I still cant believe that the Atlanta Hawks got rid of Trea Young just crazy.
modern day shawn marion
Wasn't improbable at all, you just need to know basketball
JJ’s career trajectory is almost like Giannis, and they developed very similar skill sets. It was bittersweet seeing Trae go, but it was time. The Hawks core (JJ, OO, DD, NAW, ZR) is in place. We have a bunch of expiring contracts (McCollum, KP8, Kennard) that give us cap flexibility. We have the Pelicans’ 2026 unprotected first round pick, and they’re one of the worst teams in the NBA, so we’re in the sweepstakes for Dybantsa, Peterson, and Boozer.
JJ’s inspiring hard work and dedication to his craft has allowed the Hawks to make shrewd moves in free agency and continue to bolster the team with young, moldable talent. Future is bright thanks to Johnson.
Glad he on my team, new face of the franchise.
Thanks a lot for this video. I note that you didn't analyze Jalen's defense whatsoever and I think that's very important to do so. Discussing even a couple things about his defense would enhance this video by a lot. Thanks!
bro jalen is an attractive guy, she should get rid of that haircut and maybe get a buzz or something
Legit question, why couldn't he co exist with trae young?
It's funny how you say tournament😂😂😂
FYI you can't control how your body gets hurt you can get hurt in any type of way you're not going to know until it happens
actually, Dyson Danielle made him better
Jalens a beast
His size speed athleticism all the potential of an allstar
The Trae young trade was a win win ….
everything making perfect SENSE now.
I'm a huge Trae fan and I will always be but I'm glad it's Jalen Johnson team now, Trae is a 3rd option on a championship team
Come on, stop overhype him. He hasn't even played half of the season and y'all just started to sell him like a goat? Let's see if he can bring Hawks to the finals then we can talk. At least Young did it.😂
Need more players like this. Improve your game and work hard to get valuable playing time rather than btching around and complaining when things don't go their way
For none of NBA fantasy players this is no surprise
Y’all jump on hype trains way too fast dude is a cool player but he haven’t accomplished nothing and I don’t see a future where he leads this team to a chip or even an ecf
The G league helped him for sure. Idk what it is with our g league staff but they do work wonders to make players nba ready
As a Raptors fan – Jalen Johnson is what Raptors want from Scottie Barnes lol sad face
