  1. I’m very optimistic about the warriors this season going forward. I think podz,Al, and Melton are starting to find their footing. I believe post will come out of his shooting slump soon. I think the warriors can put it together

  2. Melton has been great as the bail out guy in the second unit. When Jimmy passes out and it swing swing, Melton is the one the other guys are looking for when the shot clock gets low

  3. He's not a better defender than GP2, not a better playmaker than Jimmy, not a better rebounder than Podz for a guard, not a better 3 pt threat than Hield/Moody (Even though they've been shooting pretty poorly lately), but he's damn near 2nd or 3rd in every one of those categories.

  4. And it’s basically impossible for warriors to keep him next season. It’s so sad to think about. He’s the perfect 6th man for this team

  5. Melton’s effectiveness is the best reason for Trey Murphy’s effectiveness as a warrior! Melton and Trey’s slashing and poa defense will kill teams. And open up a lot of space for Steph..

  6. Start Curry, Melton, Jimmy, Dray, Post
Finish the game with the same lineup replacing Post with Horford.

  7. I worry about MPJ's durability, toughness and willingness to sacrifice. He can really shoot it and his numbers in Brooklyn look great, even his rebounding. But scorers often have great numbers on terrible teams, and his contract would essentially tie their hands through next year. But I get it, they are desperate to improve to take advantage of Steph still playing at an elite level. And Kuminga has to go at this point.

  8. Ive always put Melton in the starting lineup in 2k and bumped him up to like a 79 to make his impact more realistic and the warriors cook with that lineup.

  9. It was nice to see shots dropping for the Warriors and that swarming defense forcing deflections and turn overs but to me the biggest story was how awful the Blazer's offense looked without Deni.
They will adjust but they don't really have an advantage player who can play make like him.

  10. Melton knocking the rust off, Al seeming to get healthy and able to play more consistently, if they get Seth back, who I think has a real role as a bench floor spacer and secondary ball handler, I think this team can be consistently over .500.

  11. If you’re proposing that the Warriors send Kuminga and some to Brooklyn for MPJ, why do you think they shouldn’t engage Denver to send MPJ back to Denver and bring Cam Johnson to Golden State? Denver is clearly missing MPJ and you were very high on the Cam Johnson fit with the Warriors last year.

  12. For the 1000th time, Melton has always been super important. They started 17-1 before his injury last year for a reason.

  13. the producer: “go talk about warriors jason, our views are going down. hit the big markets”

  14. The consistency of this man's posting, alongside the high standard of his analysis will make Jason a legend of basketball discourse. Would not be surprised if he is on bigger screens in the future, even potentially in live game broadcasting. Keep working!!!!

  15. Nets don’t seem to be keen without a 3rd team involved. I do think Murphy is a better fit too, and we may just have to give only first. Let’s see, so long as as JK goes

  16. Stop looking at the box score and watch the game, Gui Santos has been the warriors' most important player off the bench this year. Even more important than Melton. Kerr gotta stop playing his guards and play the bigs
