Super cool Paul Pierce moment. 1st day of freshman year I was walking out of my 1st class at KU looking down at my schedule and wondering where to go. I accidentally ran into a guy's chest while turning a corner. I'm 6'2" so that doesn't happen often. I look up and it's Raef LaFrentz. I just stood their, shook my head, and said "you've gotta be kidding me!" That night I went to a party and Raef spotted me. He laughed and pointed and said "that's the kid I was talking about!" He called me over and while talking to him and Paul I saw them reject like 30 fine females. I told them to introduce me as a bench warmer for the KU basketball team to these ladies and help me out. The next 30 minutes or so Paul was my wingman. I had probably 20 phone numbers on each forearm by the end of the night.
