North Carolina vs. Stanford Condensed Game | 2025-26 ACC Men’s Basketball
A career night for Ebuka Okorie! The No. 14 North Carolina Tar Heels and the Stanford Cardinal played a classic game in Maples Pavilion, with the Cardinal coming away with the 95-90 win. Carolina led for most of the game, but with just over 1 minute remaining and trailing by 2, Jeremy Dent-Smith drained a three-pointer to give the Card the lead. After a Carolina turnover, Ryan Agarwal stepped up and nailed his 5th three-pointer of the game to give Stanford a 4-point cushion, and they were able to salt the game away from there. Freshman Ebuka Okorie had another incredible game for Stanford, scoring a career-high 36 points while shooting 12-20 from the floor and 3-5 from deep. The 36 points marked the most points scored by a Stanford freshman. He also added 9 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals in the win. Henri Veesaar and Caleb Wilson each scored 26 points, with Veesaar shooting an amazing 9-12 from the floor, including 2-2 from three-point range. Wilson had an incredible 2nd half, scoring 20 of his 26 points after the break. Wilson was a perfect 8-8 in the 2nd half and finished the game 11-16 with 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a blocked shot in the loss.

Maybe it's me but it seems like every point guard who plays against unc scores almost 30pts then their next game they flatline lol. I don't understand it. And Evans you're making 2 million you need to pay unc back

Nothing Unc could’ve done with the other team hits 20 contested 3s, I’m getting tired of every team we face shooting lights out, Florida state hit 14 3s, smu hit 16, wake forest hit 14 3s and Stanford hit 16 and our defense this game Wasn’t even that bad.

Even though UNC lost tonight I give Bogavac and Evans credit for their effort. The truth is that no matter how much effort Evans puts into the game he's not going to get any better. Bogavac on the other hand can do better, and he showed that tonight. UNC is a 2 man team bottom line. Their supporting cast either don't have it….or is inconsistant. UNC will hover around #14 to #24 in the nation this year. They are not in any shape to contend for the ACC tournament title or the national championship this year, so the fans might as well settle in and enjoy the games that they do win this season. Davis will have to work Wilson and Vaasaar to death to finish out the season with a little respect. Now Davis has to go at the end of the season for Carolina to get back to prominence. The front office has to know this by now. Davis will make a good coach in a lesser conference. He's not built to recruit and coach in the ACC. I'm not trying to be mean or anything….it's just a fact.

Noticed a fair amount of fans in Carolina blue.
How many times have we seen good 3pt shooting teams torch us, because Coach Davis not over emphasize in protecting the arc, at all cost!!!!! Again, this loss is on Coach Davis, not making the right adjustments!
