Trae isn’t that efficient but he is a fantastic playmaker. Tyus Jones had his chance but he couldn’t hack it. He had potential but couldn’t figure out how to do his job. At least Trae can shoot and give you 9-11 assists a game. Trae is worth CJ and Kispert. If it was two or three years ago it’d be CJ, Kispert, and 2-3 picks. Be real.

As a Metro Atlanta resident the Hawks would be a very unserious franchise if they trade that pick in a loaded draft class for aging injury prone AD, smh.

The top 6 – 8 in 26" draft have potential to be really good with picks 1-3 having a great potential to be all stars in 2 years. Mavs could Move Gaddford/Ky for a full rebuild.

Running the tankathon sim a few times to "prove" that the Pelican's draft pick is not that valuable is crazy. 14% is basically 1 out of 7 change to get #1. How much would teams have paid last year for a 1 out of 7 chance to draft Cooper Flagg? Or 1/7 chance to draft Wemby? If you look at drafts from the last 10 years, a top 5 draft pick can get you a player that ranges from very good to generational, which is doubly helpful if you already have a decent team like the Hawks do.
So what? He’s a non factor as a player !
