Let's go Blazers!
Whaaah! That crazy
We are on a run ..
WE BELIEVE !
P.s
Guys we dont need to talk about injured players ..we know its a shit show..lets focus on the dawgs that play!
Back to back wins against a team we usually lose too.
The Rockets gave Deni Avdija the Caitlin Clark treatment. The Trail Blazers have to make the right adjustments to counter it.
If it was the “zebras” why did they trap Deni, they should’ve trapped the officials on the sideline 😅
I couldn't understand the coach the whole time. Klingon came to block and then Steven Adams came to double-team Deni. Why not send someone else to block Danny and have someone else try to pressure Danny, for example, Durant with his tired legs, because Adams did a good job of pressing.
Huge win. Deni and Tiago have a lot to learn from this game. I didn’t like how Deni was passive and lack impact in the first half when HOU blitzed him, it could almost cost us the game, and I felt he wasn’t prepared good enough mentally for it. Happy that the second half was better. Amazing this team is just one game below .500 with all the injuries. Pretty unbelievable.
As a Deni fan; I'm even happier with this win since the team shows they can finally punish to get the win when their star is being heavily guarded throughout the entire game. Besides that, I was so pleased to see Deni make major clutch defensive plays while not being so dominant offensively as usual.
It's a good day to be a Blazer.
Was reminded when watching this game about all the talk surrounding Timelord and the Rockets last deadline. I was thinking of whether something like Rob for DFS and a small handful of 2RPs would make sense. But then I decided to make it bigger
Who says no to a framework of Jrue, Rob, and Kris for Jabari, DFS, and FVV? Theoretically adds shooting in the frontcourt for the blazers, helps solve the long term PG logjam and Deni can continue getting those reps the rest of the season since he’s thrived with the ball. Rockets get a combo guard who fits their identity and can play for them this season, and has also proven to be steady in clutch time. Rob would be helpful in the frontcourt too. Blazers stay under the tax and the rockets stay under the apron. Could bring in a third team to flip Rob if they like their frontcourt as is (though Ime seems to like Rob). Maybe some moderate draft capital needs to be involved but is probably relatively balanced as is
Thoughts?
2:08:53 “We don’t need the Ja kind of shooters we need 3pt shooters” Good one Eric😂

Let me add to the Ayton analogy. Because you’re missing a key piece
You’d usually never wish a toxic partner on someone else. But sometimes a person is toxic enough that a good person would be wasted on them and they deserve all the toxicity in return
Ordinarily I wouldn’t wish the Deandre Ayton Experience ™️ on another fanbase. But we can make an exception for Lakers fans, who are the toxic current boyfriend of this analogy
Go Blazers this is Patrick by the way I didn't go anywhere
