The New York Knicks made an ill-advised decision in selecting this coach. It is imperative that they replace him immediately, as his leadership has consistently resulted in diminishing performance. The previous coaching staff was constructed based on coach Tibbs coaching style,which was tailored to his team’s strengths. However, after Tob’s, the team has struggled to adapt to Brown’s unconventional offense, which deviates from the traditional Tom Tibbs-style basketball. In my opinion, the Knicks should consider hiring coach Malone. His coaching philosophy aligns perfectly with the team’s potential, and I believe he has the ability to lead them to championship victory.
Dadiet is too soft you can see it in his face. put his face up next to the face of Jalen Brunson or josh hart.
And put Kats face up there too. Kat is a GenZ shine boy. And Dadiet look scared.

I am from MN and a huge Wolves fan. I am HAPPY that Knicks fans are holding his feet to the fire. He pulled the same stunts in MN (if not worse because he did not have Brunson holding him as accountable) and the MN fans did not consistently call him out. I would be willing to go a step further here : it's almost that you can say KAT got Thibs fired twice. Like why would Mike Brown not call KAT out and hold him accountable because if he does not, he could be next. I too saw the interview where KAT was kind of "crying" about his changed role under Brown and it was PATHETIC. I also saw KAT argue with Brunson (yell back at) on the bench during the playoffs last year and that was pathetic as well. KAT has a ton of potential; but this is what he needed in terms of messages like this. He needed to be called out in this way so that he can make the needed adjustments. This video had the message that the MN media too often lacked, but obviously that Tim Connelly fully understood.
Remember back in the NBA cup final trophy presentation. Kat took the trophy from JB. He wanted the shine so bad but don't give as much effort as the captain.

The problem is that when your main scorer and ball handler is under six feet tall you need at least two big men on the court. Basketball is a tall man’s sport. Those little guys are a hit or miss from night to night. They wear down too quickly.
KAT has many advantages and disadvantages, as does Randle. We wanted to exchange one for the other, thinking it would be better. However, I do not understand why it was necessary to give up Donte???

Totally DISAGREE. This is on the coach. KAT has been the same player his whole career. We all know his weaknesses, so why can't the coach put him in situations where he can thrive. Coaches lineups have been questionable too. If KAT wants to play the 4, then why is he playing center? Everybody says that KAT's game is inside the paint. He might finish inside the paint but it started outside the paint. Him playing outside the paint makes him a tripple threat because hes an exceptional passer for a big man.
If you want to place blame on a player, then place that blame on Bridges. He's the one that's not stepped up. He's the one that's always shying away from contact. He's the one that's labeled as an elite scorer and an elite defender. He definitely has not been any of that all season.
Why the hell is Josh Hart handling the ball? There are only two players on the Knicks that can handle the ball under full pressure. One is JB, the other is McBride. For the coach to have Josh Hart, bringing the ball up and be a ball handler, let's me know he doesn't know his team.
I said when they got him and many times thereafter that the Knicks will never win a championship with him. They need to trade him and reverse the worst trade in Knicks history. They should slso try to get Jrue Holiday for his defense, leadership and 2 rings worth of experience.

Remember vs the Pacers in the ECF, when he was guarding Siakham and he was just front facing Siakham and they were just standing there. And then Kat just reaches out, and just grabs Siakams off hand wrist and holds it like he just found his kid at the state fair, and then Siakham still just dribbling looks at the ref. Then looks at Kat holding his wrist, and then back at the Ref, and then finally got the foul call as Kat basically got a 3 second violation for holding another mans wrist. And then Kat had the nerve to complain about it.
Kat isn’t shooting well from 3 and he only scores on bigs he can blow by with his aggressive drive. He doesn’t set hard screens or rebound as hard in these games so he has no role on this team right now. OGs handle and jumpshot is super spotty rn his ability to create isn’t as consistent. Mikal isn’t able to create under pressure he avoids contact at all costs and doesn’t have rim pressure. This team would be better off having gotten Rudy from the kat trade because at least we’d have 2 rim protecting bigs anchoring the defense because it’s clear Mikal would rather lean his hat on defense but he doesn’t have backline support with kat. Hopefully Shamet and hart being back will spark the team with shot creation and aggression because our starters who are getting paid handsomely aren’t fucking producing.

Trade brunson…never saw a shot he didn't like…no defense….now I'm a knick fan and admit that he is an extremely talented guard but unless he makes a serious effort to score less and let the wings and kat be the focal point of scoring..they won't get to where the want to be….I'm one of the few that would move.him for oft injured zion straight up….play kolek a natural point guard develop him with run he could be a solid pass first point guard which.is exactly what this roster needs…brunson needs to learn there will be nights when we need him to put on that red cape…but most nights as deep as this roster is let every one eat (ball touches) no iso….and this team can be formidable….if only someone would tell him as much.
One problem he is wrong kat has been the 2nd best and all nba player on teams that made it to two straight conference finals if kat was better timberwolves would’ve never traded him for Randall and Donte

add Brunson seems to have regressed back to last yr thibs offensive stagnation. Those flashes of ball moving early on this szn and having huge quarters offensively is gone completely. It def frustrates KAT and doesn’t get other guys going as a whole. The KAT problem is we never needed him and he didn’t make our team better but now both sides look unhappy and he’s not even scoring. This group with iHart and Donte woulda been perfect.
