Gabe is a good player he just is a guard who has to wait for his forwards to get him the ball lol lakers and most teams today don’t play team basketball. They play your best player dribble until he decides to shoot or pass. Who can keep consistent rhythm like that if you aren’t that player with the ball ?

Reality check: this roster was destined to be Play Ins bound all along. Contending for a championship was pure fantasy. A major roster overhaul is the ONLY answer.
Rob is awful. We have wasted 3 FRPs under him and multiple seconds. His asset management is what got us here. Wants to be stingy with picks now after giving them up for BS. He can’t put a roster together and worst of all in recent time has not improved and is still here.
Adou being drafted with injury history is ridiculous. Made no real adjustment to the team in the offseason besides being lucky. Even during wins it’s apparent this weak roster Rob put together is dumb and don’t see him improving it as he is the worst gm in the league.
Obviously you have to blame roster construction and our GM for a lot of this, but how is JJ not getting any heat for these types of performances. 9 bench points? How was JJ one of the best shooters of his era and yet our team can’t hit the broad side of a barn? He’s gonna lose the locker room pretty soon at this rate

All the Lakers fans calling to trade Luka are RIGHT. OF COURSE you should trade him while his value is still high, while he's putting up this empty 33PPG, while he's being EXPOSED as a fraud while playing alongside arguably the greatest player of all time. Being outed as an empty stats, non impactful SUPERSTAR. Otherwise you'd be in denial and trying to tell yourself that you won the trade when Nico was right all along in the attitude, the smugness, the constant whining and believing he's too good to put any effort in defense or pass the ball when he thinks he's the next coming of Michael Jordan. You'd be a FOOL to not get any value out of him while you can, NOW, before he gets exposed completely, if he isn't already.

That early season success was a facade with context like I said months ago. The point is this past off-season Lakers did not improve this roster. Defense, athleticism, and better depth is what La lacked against Minnesota. New season and same problems. Too many holes with this team.
