  1. Nuggets haters are in panic mode, and they try to diminish jokic with all their hearts. Finally jokic have competent team and i hope health will be on maximum level in playoff time

  2. Watson will be starting…

Watson came into the league as a 2, cam would play the 3 if both are on the court together.

  3. I think Peyton Watson is right now way better than Christian Braun and he might even be better than Cam Johnson at this point. He just passes the eye test better and puts up good, consistent numbers as a starter. The problem is, I don't think Christian Braun will look very good when Jokic is off the floor, meaning he probably has to start for now to make the most out of his minutes, while Peyton Watson is clearly able to make things happen with no Jokic. Cam Johnson is competent enough, honestly I don't think he necessarily needs Jokic to be good, in the minutes that he has staggered with the bench he has looked good. He hasn't really been scoring a lot this season, but he has a solid floor game and good defense which doesn't rely on Jokic. Moving Cam Johnson to come off the bench may actually work better, and putting Peyton Watson in as starting SF could be the move, and have him stagger with the bench as well to help them generate offense.

There may be no correct answer right now as to what the rotation should be, honestly we will just need to wait for Jokic to come back and see what rotations Adelman experiments with.

  4. Murray should be All NBA no question. I saw the ESPN insiders including Kevin Pelton have him as 2nd team All NBA at this point so clearly people around the country are taking note. Re Watson, I think he should start once everybody is back. The most natural thing to do would be try him at SF and see if the offensive production and efficiency stay strong. If so he brings much better D and athleticim than CJ. That starting lineup would be very strong defensively. CB, AG and PWat would give the Nuggets a ton of defensive athleticism and versatility. Then you've got two guys in CJ and THJ coming off the bench to rain 3's. They have to at least try it. If it doesn't work out you just send PWat back with the second unit. The Nuggets have first world problems….

  5. Honestly, I think the Nuggets will re-sign PWat in the offseason. Cam will probably pick up his player option, and the Nuggets can either run it back with 6 starters (basically) or use Cam's expiring contract as a trade piece.

Another scenario that can happen is PWat will want to be with another team and the Nuggets will sign-and-trade him for assets.

  6. They're gonna have to do what they have to do to keep P-Wat in the off-season. He's earned at least a Braun level contract, which means one of the 20+ guys have gotta go & I'd say it's Cam. He's a solid player & a great teammate, but he's what he is(while being 30 compared to mid 20s for P & CB) & P-Wat is doing a lot of what he can do with insane upside. The good part is they should be able to move him for a positive asset or two, instead of attaching an asset like they had to do to move MPJ.

I'm wondering if Zeke might be moveable now too. He's got talent, it's just Mike kept trying to ram that square peg into a round hole & refused to play him where he obviously fit better. He's also had terrible luck where whenever he's put together 10-15 games where he's started showing out he's managed to get a nagging injury that dropped his development right down the bottom of the ladder again.

  7. You ranked Jamal Murray at 25 in Best players in the NBA today.
But now? I think It’s safe to say he’s a 15-20 player in the league, if not higher.

  8. 3:36 Christian remains the starter. Peyton comes off the bench as the dominant scorer, something our bench severly lacked. He may close games until Braun regains consistency. But if Braun gets back to pre injury level, he should start due to rolls, even if Peyton is better in a vacuum.

  9. It's Watson vs Cam not Watson vs Braun. I'm so sick of all these fans that hate Christian because his bad year. Cam is 6 years older than Braun and a worse defender.

  10. Who plays will depend much more on defensive matchups. Braun on the shorter, quicker guards. Watson on the taller wings, and even power forwards.

Given what they are doing now, the question is more who falls out of the rotation if everyone gets healthy. Watson, Hardaway, Val, Jones, Brown and Pickett have all shown clear value. And to a lesser extent, even Tyson. The only underperformer so far is Strawther.

  11. I would keep Watson on the bench because he has proven he can score without Jokic. Braun plays better with Jokic. Watson as a spark off the bench?
