The reason why he is playing lavert is because of his size. But lavert needs to be benched or traded
Monty Williams was forced to watch Ivey 37 with Hayes playing PG and 34 with Cade playing PG and scoring 30 in the same game. Ivey has had multiple games of 50+ FG%' 40-80% 3PT% and shoots 80+ FT%.
The fans think we need to make big trade and send out multiple firsts for a player like this when we have Ivey on the bench for watching for over 30 minutes a game. Caris had some really good games for JB in Cleveland so I understand why he wanted him here but so far in Detroit he hasn't performed to same. LeVert can be a good piece but think fans, myself included are frustrated with the minutes he gets instead of one of the younger guys that may be part of their longer term core pieces.
Good win, bad game. Cade should be rested and allowed to heal.
Asuar is a offensively liability
Levert would have been the second best player….in 2023-24 season. Gotta get him off the team
My brother I love this channel but just some perspective: Stew was a -22 in the box score tonight. Caris was -8. One would assume those numbers are overlapping, but I'd guess that isn't always true. Box scores and looks can be deceiving all at the same time when the entire opposing team seems to be 6'7 except for two 6'2 white guys who never miss. That being said, Caris as a piece in a trade package to open up a spot for Daniss sound great.
Ausar Thompson is OVERRATED. I said it, yes!!! He isn’t consistent defensively. And OVERRATED.He’s awful offensively. And being a secondary ball handler he sucks. I’d trade him for a star and lean on Ron and jevonte. That’s just me 💯 HIGHLY OVERRATED
That Javonte take not hitting Ku. His eye test and numbers go against what you said
Cmon Ku, now you know dang well why they're playing Caris. Bro, he's about to be moved. You don't think JB and Langdon are doing this on purpose? C'mon Ku….they know him and his contract is garbage>>>>LOL
Bro we gotta take away Caris from JB. I want Ivey and Daniss off the bench as the guards.
They can't allow Cade to take this long a break. He's cold like the season just started.
Cade needs to learn how to come back from a few games off… WORST game i have seen him play . Trying to do it all right off ….. Also Robinson, and Tobias on the floor a the same time looks old and slow. We have a bunch of better athletes and need to keep that style all game.. No old vets line-ups for vets sake line-ups. and Levert from his slow start is NOT a great fit
The number 1 reason we won is cuz booker was hurt. If booker played we probably lose
When a team can play poorly and still win, it demonstrates their strength and resilience.
Even Green is better than Caris and to lesser extent sasser has been more productive than caris when given time!
I disagree that they came out "lazy" or whatever. Pistons came out with tremendous energy for the first couple minutes and got out to a lead entirely due to being the more energetic team. When Phoenix upped their energy and came back, that's what got into the Pistons head and threw them off their game. Also I don't care about cherry picked stats, Tobias was the best +/- guy for most of the game, I don't buy that he should be singled out for not shooting too many 3s when nobody else can shoot or even run the offense. I mean guys like Ausar and JI running into each other etc.
And Javonte is a better shooter and offensive player than Ausar and Ron combined.
Winning is never ugly! Glady taking it!
Free throws
Ku I agree with your takes on Ausar’s lack of offensive production and Jevonte not being a rotational benefit. But, I think Ausar’s struggles play a role in JB doubling down on defensive identity.
What do the refs do at halftime? Do they look at the stat sheet like the Sun's had 21 free throws we got to even this up and not call so many on Detroit the 2nd half
Pistons were so quick passimg the ball around in half court i swear i saw suns players' just freeze a number of times…they didnt know where the ball was or who had it
They need MPJ so bad. Give me guys that can put the ball in the hoop. I'm done with the experiments. I've seen enough of a sample size to evaluate team.
Good thing they didn't have Book!
I’m with you on levert but your green take sounds reactionary.. his defense and energy of the bench has been consistently good all year . He can actually provide some shooting to pair with it unlike Ron .
