The Raptors Have Genius Plan In Place!

I will be taking a look at the latest news and rumors surrounding the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors have been linked to many different All star players even leading up to last year. I will break down what I think the Raptors have planned and how they will use this plan to their advantage. Make sure to check out their trivia question at the end of the video!

  1. Bobby Portis.

Agree with the plan – smart planning by the front office. Just hope they don’t give up RJ and would also keep IQ. I don’t think Ja or AD are worth the injury or chemistry risks. They need rebounding and stretch 3 help. A low cost solution to me is going shopping in Utah, they have 5 Centres and Danny Ainge loves draft capital. Ochai, Gradey and picks should be able to get a couple like Filipowski & Nurkic. Markannen and Kessler probably out of the question

  2. @TWR btw no one is gonna take IQ plus Jakob Poeltl contract. that would cost the raptors 6 picks lewenburg said. and no one wants jakob poeltl contract now until he is heallthy enough to play.

so its IQ and RJ for AD and deangelo russel or dwight powell. no picks, no young players. its likely these are just fluffer rumors as well, as its also said by shams dallas may opt to keep and build value next year,

also i dont see bobby leaking all this shit to media also, so the entire thing could be bs.

the raptors at the end of the day if they dont want to give 1-2 unprotected picks and cmb and alijah martin for a good center, likely just resign mo bamba.

  3. reason why i dont include gafford is because dallas wants 2 lightly protected top 3 picks with cmb. thats the price of centers at trade deadline. unfortunately for raptors they bought a lemon in jakob poeltl and extended him to an albatross contract where he likely medically retires and raptors have to waive and stretch him.

  4. It's bone head crazy how some people are still advocating or putting forth trade scenarios for AD. AD would be a salary cap anchor ($54.1MM this season, $58.5MM in 2026/27, a player option $62.8MM for 2027/28. ), as well as a franchise anchor. I don't know why people can't see this fact. LBJ didn't want to play with AD anyone because he can't be trusted to stay healthy. AD cost Nico his job in Dallas. And now some Raptors fans are advocating trading for AD? Make it make sense?
