I absolutely loved that game last night! Seeing the Lakers get destroyed in front of all those front-running, bandwagon fans is priceless. I also love those beautiful teal uniforms that Charlotte wore.
You are SO correct about the Lakers record being very deceiving. They are not a 24-15 team. Look at the top 8 teams from each conference. The Lakers are the ONLY one of the 16 teams to have a negative scoring differential at – 0.4. Compare that to my favorite team, and their arch-rivals, the Boston Celtics. Boston has almost an identical record at 25-15, yet the Celtics have the second-best scoring differential at + 6.5. And, of course, that's without their best all-around player, Jayson Tatum. While the Lakers completely dog it when they're losing, the Celtics never give up and it's usually a very close game when they lose. Imagine where the Lakers would be had Adam Silver not rigged that "Luka to the Lakers" trade!
