Has anyone noticed when Luka goes into a flurry in the first half the Lakers lose by double digits. When he stays in like that it doesn’t allow the bench to catch rhythm
Last time Lebum played D was at a Diddy party
My Warriors will be there at the finish line. Watch
Hey Jason — long-time listener, big fan of how you break the game down. Appreciate the work you do. I didnt catch the full Lakers–Hornets game, but from the highlights Luka looked like a straight-up cone out there. He’s an insanely smart player and he’s in much better shape than earlier versions of himself, but it feels like there’s definitely a lack of buy-in on that end. At some point you’ve got to get pissed when Sion James is going right at your head, hitting one basic move, and walking right by you for layups and floaters.
If you were Luka’s coach, what are you saying — if anything — to get him to take those matchups more personally and play with real intent defensively? Especially with how disjointed the Lakers’ help defense looks right now, it feels critical that Luka can at least sit down, make the ball handler string together multiple moves and counters, and generate some actual stops.
can't wait to see what this Suns team looks like when fully healthy
Warriors need to play through jimmy. Retire draymond at point center.
Mailbag: How optimistic do you think the Celtics should be about this season with Jason Tatum's possible return in time for the playoffs? Should they go all in and trade for a starting caliber center before the deadline?
Jason, you're explosive with that beginning: ALRIGHT EVERYBODY WELCOME TO HOOPS TONIGHT. If the Lakers played with that energy….
Always excuses for the Lakers..
The Lakers aren't good. If they aren't getting 30+ FTs are shooting a million percentage they can't win. Their defense is horrible. Worse when healthy the Laker will have 3 of the worst defenders on the floor at the same time in Luka, LeBaby, and Reeves. If they aren't going to the line 30+ or shooting lights out good luck. They aren't stopping anyone. The other team may miss but the Lakers had zero to do with it. Why guys like this could think they have a chance is insane. Watch them play. Even when they win you can see it won't work because it's about the other teams missing wide open shots and the Lakers never missing and getting 30+ FTs.
Literally any team can go into a slump or go cold from three not just Thunder lol ! Come on now. Funny thing is the Thunder slump came at the perfect time when the rest of the league slumped also and nobody made up any ground on them.
Warriors are starting to play pretty well. Moody, Podz, Melton seem to be settling into their roles and playing well. I actually think if they could get a versatile big for Q.Post's minutes, then that would help them quite a bit. Someone like Bobby Portis would be a good fit, and he has a reasonable contract. He can space the floor, rebound and would give them line up versatility, especially with Draymond and/or Jimmy. He seems like a realistic return in a trade involving Kuminga too.
Man Jimmy has done this with every team so far. Dont bring that shit to the Bay.
Everytime GS wins two games I can expect him to say that warriors are getting hot like what?😭😭 last time he did that they ended up losing to Atlanta without Trey young the next day
Monk would be cool if we didn't already have a million small guards. If we add Monk, Kerr might just just try a 5 guard line up with GP2 at center.
22:32 FINALLY you emphasized how HARD that schedule was!
People always treated that like an afterthought, it was infuriating lmao. That schedule was brutal AF!!
36:40 For Laker's lament 😅😂
Jason, are the Knicks still "dangerous"? Asking for a friend…🤡🤡🤡
If Vanderbilt isn’t gonna be in the rotation in the playoffs and the defense is the problem how does that help haha can’t wait for lakers in 5 talks again
Pistons had 14FT to the Suns 0FT in the 4th. How does the team that commits the most fouls in the NBA not get called for a single foul in the 4th. The refs were horrible yet again.
Crazy how Reed Shepard had all this hype, and Presti found Ajay in the second round & he's essentially better than Reed & more playable day 1…
Once Lebum retires, the disillusioned Laker fans can once again go back with full passion to root for the Lakers.
Um….if they beat "A team or two" then they ARE in the WCF. Just sayin'….
warriors desperatly need a 3rd scoring option , they would be 10x deadlier with a reliable 2 volume scorer , Moody is not that guy that type of game appears 2 maybe 3 times per season , they NEED to make a trade
BRO. Shorthanded????? You have Luka and LEBRON JAMES. Can we pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease stop this man. Omg lol. I mean WHO DO THEY NEED?
79th!
Jason is more impressed the healthy Pistons with the best record in the east narrowly beat Phoenix with no Booker or Green than the Hornets curb stomping the Lakers without Reaves. Hmmm 🤔
