Why trade Daniel Gafford unless its good first round pick . Otherwise they will just get back worse players. What is the gain exactly? You dont get better players for this salary . Stupidity.

Gafford will continue to not play well on this contract because dallas no longer runs the luka system and Kyrie is different all together. The problem is we (Hawks) no longer have a pg that will make him look good.

The center for the UConn huskies will be in the draft soon. He is learning to play with his back to the basket, rebounds well and is a large body. I would rather get a young guy to add to the young mix so they grow together. Plus you have to play defense at UConn to be on the floor.

AD is a millstone around the Mavericks neck beacuse of the injuries and how much money he makes. Its not his fault though its the MAVs fault

Trade Daniel Russell and exum to Portland for thybulle willams and a first then sign Ryan to a legitimate nba contract then trade Ad klay Powell Hardy and Martin to the bulls for Collins williams Vucevic Huerter and either white if they'll do it but if not then Smith I.O or Jones preferably white but if not him then one of them 3 I just named worst case scenario we get off over 90 million in cap and lose some players it's a all around win for our mavs

No. The only justification for a move like this is that DAL knows that AD needs surgery, plans to stretch that rehab time out to maybe let him play a few games at the end for showcase value and is telling KAI to relax and return next season. In other words, DAL is going all in for the chance at selecting in the top 1-4 of the draft. If we're looking to shed salary and get those spots open for RN & MC, it should be all about moving Klay and Russell. I have yet to grasp the fascination with moving DG/PJ for anything other than a significant return(relatively speaking). They're both on good deals and both 27. They can be key contributors on the first team led by Flagg that makes noise in the playoffs. We aren't talking about a pair of 31yr olds here.

You cannot trade Gafford for the sake of making a trade! We don’t owe Atlanta anything in a trade and with AD being traded in the summer most likely, we’ll need Gaff and Lively as our centers. Two 2nd round picks is a horrible return.
